Wow!!!! Many congratulations to you and your family dear sis.
This is God at work. What God cannot do does not exist.
The Lord will perfect your healing in Jesus name.
I tap into this testimony

ontime22:
NL Family, join me thank God for great things He has done for me. I give God praise for showing himself strong on my behalf. He has granted me my heart desires.
God granted my family and I our desired Canadian visas: Study Visa for me and my 2 children and a Visitor Visa for hubby.
What God cannot do does not exist.
I decided I was going to apply for Canadian Express entry in 2018 so I wrote IELTS in preparation but got diagnosed with Cancer towards the end of the same year. I spent better part of 2019 undergoing the treatment protocol.
I read via some blogs and listened to some vlogs that said Canadian Immigration approval is not usually given to people who have had my kind of challenge and have not stayed at least 5 years after treatment. The reason they gave is that Canada would not want to approve immigration requests for immigrants that will cause excessive demand on their health care service. Downcast, I stopped pursuing my immigration plan and resolved I could as well wait out the 5 years so my IELTS expired.
I was encouraged to try the student route in 2021 but I honestly didn’t know I will be required to do medicals. I thought with the Student Visa, I will pay my medical out of pocket which I was ready to do. It turned out God wanted to show me that He was and is still all powerful and will do what He wants to do.
I started looking for schools in Canada around July 2021 but saw their application openings for most schools I checked were already for Fall 2022 but I wanted to relocate in January,2022 so I went ahead to get admission from 2 US schools. By December 2021, I concluded I couldn’t travel to US in January 2022 with my family at such a short time especially as we were struggling to get appropriate interview dates in December,2021. At this point, I decided to defer the admission in US and apply to Canadian Schools for Fall 2022 starts, apply for Canadian visas with my family, if we don’t get visa approvals, we will request for expedited interview date for US and head there for Fall start. Through it all, I prayed earnestly trusting God to lead us to the best place that will not mess up His plans for my family especially my kids.
I applied in November, 2021 for a Masters, got admission in January, 2022. God sent me help all through.
We were advised by well-meaning friends and an immigration consultant that I should pursue my visa application first before including family but my spouse didn’t agree. According to him, everyone has a story. I applied for my student visa with my family in April,2022. I was 43 years old as at the time of the Application and have worked for more than 16 years.
It is important I point out the following:
1. I had not taken COVID Vaccine as at when I applied for visa and had my medical exams
2. I had an active express entry profile
3. My BP was quite high on the morning of my medical review but the Panel Physician assured me there was nothing to worry about.
4. I completed my breast cancer treatment in 2019 (less than 5 years ago). I went with
my medical report when I went for the Medical Exams. The Panel Physician carefully explained to me that even though he was going to scan the medical report I came with that there was nothing to be concerned about.
5. I didn’t pay any school fees before I applied for visa because my school sent me an email that I didn’t need a deposit to secure the space. I just included this email correspondence in my application and showed through my POF that I had enough fund to cater for me and family.
6. All my siblings except only one live in either USA or Canada and are citizens of these countries including my mum. However, being a married lady, I never mentioned them in my SOP. I only put their names in one the forms I filled during the application. I built my home ties more on me and spouse’s assets and jobs in Nigeria.
7. I never sent a single email or webform before I got my approval and spouse’s approval
8. I begun sending desperate emails and webforms after my spouse and I got approvals and my 2 children’s approval didn’t come even after 12 weeks of submission. It turned out we missed including their birth certificates in their applications. IRCC sent us email to upload them via the portal
I noted the above because Nos 1 to 5 were some of my worry points before I received my approval.
I am writing hoping someone will find hope and relax and trust God to confirm His promises.

This is beginning to look like mine, please act fast.
I’m using an agent for my application, she created a new email address for my application as well, I was also curious when I got my biometric slip coz I wrote a different email on my bio data page at VFS. She explained she needs an email she can be accessible to at anytime. Then she gave me my login details.

I don’t think using a different email address for your application should be an issue, most times agents create new email address for easy access to your portal and notifications on your application.

Landing Gist - Lagos to Toronto Via EgyptAir. August 9 - 10, 2022.

LAGOS AIRPORT
I got to the Lagos Airport around 8:30am. My flight was for 2pm. I had to give the security guys at the entrance 1k for them to allow my people go in with me. After my luggages went through the scanner, I gave the immigration officers that were suppose to do manual check after the scanner 1k so l can move on. Then I proceeded to Agriculture where I opened one of the luggage that had some food item for them to check. They checked and told me to go. Then I proceeded to EgyptAir stand.

EgyptAir didn't start on time for us because there were some Nigerians going on pilgrimage to Jerusalem via Egypt that they were attending to. They were the majority on our flight to Cairo. Anyways, by 10am I had cleared the EgyptAir check and checked in my bags. They weren't overweight. They asked for ArriveCan, Acceptance Letter, Enrollment Letter and School Fees Receipt.

By 10:30am, my people left and I proceeded to immigration. I was given yellow card by EgyptAir which I filled and I dropped with the immigration officers. Then I proceeded to the scanner where we will drop our carry on bags, laptops, phones, keys etc in a bowl to pass through the scanner. Now, I had the scariest moment of my life at this point. I shared this experience with family members only before now. I decided to share with you guys so you can learn from the experience. Always hold your Passport with you!

At the point of the scanner the immigration officer there asked us to put all our things in the bowl including our passport. It was just me and one Arab guy, possibly Lebanese. He could speak Yoruba and was dashing immigration guys money. So we placed our things in Separate bowls and I went ahead through the scanner but he didn't go through the scanner. The immigration officer asked him to come and he did manual check for him and he let him go.

So I exited the scanner to go collect my things. I wore my shoes, picked up my glasses, phones, wallet and Passport. Passport? My passport with the boarding pass was no where to be found. It was missing! At that moment, it felt like my world has ended and that village people caught up with me. I was in disarray and I started shouting. In the process of shouting, I kept saying it was me and the Arab guy that came to that point together and now my Passport is missing. One of the senior immigration officers approached me and asked me which guy. I turned round and and pointed at him just before he exited that place and be gone forever! The officer approached him. I don't know what he told him because I wasn't looking as I was still in disarray and lo and behold, my Passport and boarding pass resurfaced! The excuse I got is that he also has a Nigerian Passport and he mistakenly took mine. Yet his own passport was still with him. I don't buy that story but all good. God saved and delivered me already. I collected my Passport and left. Whew!

All through the rest of the journey, I held my Passport with me till I exited Toronto Pearson Airport in Canada.

CAIRO AIRPORT.
We got to Cairo around 9pm Cairo time which is 8pm Nigerian time. The Airport is bigger and finer than MMA. A bus took us to Terminal 3 and it was a long walk combined with lift and escalators to get to gate F where will be boarding to Toronto. We waited around for another 3 hours before we started boarding and took off to Toronto around 2am. They only checked our passport, boarding pass and ArriveCan here. I showed them theArriveCan receipt on the phone as the lady in Lagos had taken the only copy I printed. It was a smooth 11.5hrs journey to Toronto. The plane is alot bigger than the one that took us from Lagos to Cairo. Comfy ride all through.

TORONTO PEARSON AIRPORT
We landed in Toronto around 8am Toronto time. Now, this airport is huge. And fine and well layed out. The walk to the self service kiosk is also long but we got there. I had done my declaration ahead in the ArriveCan, so I was pretty quick at the service kiosk. I scanned my Passport, machine took my photograph and printed my receipt. We were taken to the place where will collect our study permit. Our letter of Introduction was collected and we were told to sit down. They called us one after the other. You will enter the office, the border officer will collect your passport, check your info on the system, check your visa and stamp your passport. Then your study permit will be given to you. No questions asked.
I proceeded to baggage claim. When I got there, I asked one of the officers which carousel could be carrying the baggages from EgyptAir because the carousels were so many that I didn't want to be going one by one to check. He asked his colleague on his walkie talkie. He said Carousel 7, I went there. Found my bags in 7 and then in 6. Took the train within the airport to get to Terminal 3 where the car that came to get me was parked and I was on my way.

FOOD AND ENTERTAINMENT ON THE FLIGHT.
The food was Okay. Although the Rice, chicken and sauce from Cairo to Toronto was better than Lagos to Cairo. They served us twice Lagos to Cairo and 3 times on the flight from Cairo to Lagos. I filled my time with movies that I haven't watched before. And then a little sleep, a little prayers here and there and I didn't feel bored on the flight till we got to Toronto.

It was a great journey in general. I haven't gone out yet as I only arrived yesterday and I'm still on my bed right now. It's around 8am here. But from our drive from the airport to home, I will say Canada is beautiful. May all of us that desire it experience it all in Jesus name.

PS: Don't forget to come with your universal adapter. The picture attached is what their socket looks like. Buy the one that has USB port with it. It's about 4k.

Have a great day you all!

I submitted my application February 22, 2022. Did biometric February 24th. And that's when the long wait started. But thank GOD it ended in praise.

However, I was told that I will not be issued visa that is beyond the expiry date of my passport. My passport has just 8 months to expiry date, which means that it will not cover the duration of my studies. I need to do a new passport ASAP. Please does anyone has a way of helping? I am in Lagos.

Thanks all and GOD bless ❤

Does the name of the agent start with a 'D"? She already created an email for me intialky, which she gave me access to, but the new one, she's claiming that the problem probably came from VFS and I can't view the dashboard myself.
Buks03:

I’m using an agent for my application, she created a new email address for my application as well, I was also curious when I got my biometric slip coz I wrote a different email on my bio data page at VFS. She explained she needs an email she can be accessible to at anytime. Then she gave me my login details.

I don’t think using a different email address for your application should be an issue, most times agents create new email address for easy access to your portal and notifications on your application.
