Good people of this forum, I'm so fighting depressed violently right now and I am wondering how long the battle will take and if I would not be a victim someday. I wish I could just sight or see a flicker of hope before the fears, pain and uncertainty that has engulfed my life will finally subsume me. I am scared of the unknown because every human efforts I have made have taken me nowhere.

No family, loved ones, relatives to come through for me, give a listening ear or necessary support. I am at a crossroad and as it stand, the Mother of my adorable daughter left with the child because to her, I have not been able to follow up with the reassurance of better life, promising future and bliss.

I have searched employment everywhere including but not limited to labour work on the site, working as usher for events, and at one point worked as a security for an Insurance company for a pittance ,and I later still lost the job because the company downsized and I have been like this ,not having clue on what to do next.

The little money I was able to raise over time is what I used to pay the rent for the 2 rooms I occupied with my Wife and daughter. I am lost, I don't know what to do next, a friend from University suggested I could do better doing remote jobs on the internet and I could get gigs to deliver on my skills. I am a writer , editor, proofreader and I could do a lot more and very much open to new knowledge and skills.

All I need is a medium laptop which I already priced on jiji ,I cannot afford it, it cost about 60k to get a used Lenovo or any variant of models of laptop. I am sincerely at my wit's end and as much as I hate to admit, I feel like cutting the chase and ending it all. I am perplexed and typing this from my tired and weary soul. I am 37 years and almost have nothing to show for all my effort at existence and sustainance .

Please come to my aid my Nairaland family, I can't take anymore pain ,please help me I am totally distressed and finding survival hard and tortuous. Please help me folks, I will forever be indebted to you.
