Hello house, please I'd like to know the experiences of people that has gone for interview at the German embassy with a minor. Are they in any way given preferential treatment? Given that no one is allowed to bring in bags, would a parent be allowed to bring in essentials for a minor, like water, snacks, diaper etc?

Yes. A sister was allowed to bring in essentials for her baby. Plead with them.

Just as an update. We received an appointment mail yesterday for next month finally. Applied in July 2021. All the best to everyone.

-How the interview went?
-What other necessary documents are to be taken along that is not stated on their website?
-how long It takes for the visa approval?

Hi actually that’s applicable to everyone. You need a certified translator to translate them to you in German. You can also get an apostille on them in Abuja or a notary public.



Omabisco, i am in the same position. I was told it will take up to 15 weeks to get the pre approval.

Can u enlighten me on how you managed to do this if you have.

My employer is asking for German translation of my degree and Apostille of my Degree for the pre-approval. Has anyone recently done any of this that can guide where to do this?
