What to do with money especially if it is unexpected or quite much sometimes is very difficult. Here is what I'll suggest.

1. Divide the money into three or four parts.
2. Keep one part for future business
3. Keep another part (just for keeping sake)
4. Use the third part to do a current business.

There are a lot of factors that affect the success of a business. That your friend did business A and succeeded doesn't mean that you will do the same business A and also succeed. That's why it's not advisable to keep or put your whole egg in one basket except of course you're holding the basket.

There are a lot business you can do that will give you a decent profit per day (it depends on the area and the kind of people living there too) and such business will thrive if you don't eat the profit but rather re invest it to yield more profit. The road to financial freedom starts from delayed gratification. Well, unfortunately not many people have the power to delay gratification that's why there are many poor people around.

Bro, becareful there are a lot of scammers here.

The importance of having a skill cannot be over emphasized.
My uncle ones told me, " man wey get hand work no dey go hungry".
If your guy had a skill, it would have been an added advantage because he can invest there,since He knows the dos and don'ts of of that business.

Tell your guy to go into transport business, within 2 years He will be able to save enough to travel out,since travelling out of the country is his first dream.
