There was a time that Eclipse of the Sun or Moon, I can't remember vividly, but an Eclipse happened when I was in Primary-1 or 2, the Alfas in my community brought all Muslims in my small community together the next day, and asked us to start begging God for forgiveness. They told us that God was angry with the world because of our Sins. That week's Sunday, I followed Aunty Imole to her Celestial Church as I always do, and the Shepherd in Charge also organized special prayer session to beg God for forgiveness over the last anger God showed us by turning day into night.

When I got to Primary-4, our class teacher taught us Eclipses. I reminded him about the turning of day into night that happened few years earlier, he said YES, that was an Eclipse. That evening, I didn't go to Arabic Class - Ile Kewu, because I knew then that I know more than the Alfas, and that I should be teaching them and not the semi literates teaching me.

About two Sundays after, I followed Aunty Imole to her Church again where the Shepherd in Charge is my father's older Cousin. After the Service which always end in the evening, I followed Baba Home. His food was ready and we ate together from same plate. While eating, I reminded him about the turning of day into night that happened few years back. He quickly said it was our Sins. I informed him that our teachers said it was Eclipse and explain the little I understand to him. But, he said Scientists are one of the people committing the Sins and they don't want to admit it, so they come up with several untrue jargons to confuse the people.

I got home that evening and asked my uncles who were in secondary schools, and they confirmed Eclipses to me.

Since that time, I knew Religion is just a minor thing to me.
