Good evening everyone
I have been a silent reader on this platform for a while now
I just need advise from you all
I’m a 300lv student of a university in Lagos (my school is not on strike), please is it possible to combine my study with e-hailing maybe on rentals or hire-purchase ?
Note: I don’t know how to drive yet I am thinking I can perfect that in a month or a month and half
Things are really hard right now and fending for myself in school is not easy
I would want someone to please advice me on steps to take and I would also love to have a mentor here
P.S I’m 26years old
God bless you all

Be kind to yourself and check your results. From your view, you should know your expected class by now, if you will be ending at 1st class, 2.1, 2.2 or 3rd class. Which of the class do you see yourself clinching when it is all said and done. Can you still sit tight and end with a better result?

What is the motive behind you wanting to drive? Lack of cash, school fees or fear of the unknown?

I wrote this out of experience. Focus is imperative when you look at the big picture. Just like a footballer following yahoo boys, before you know he starts picking 100 dollars, 200 dollars and his stories go on without a reasonable ending.

Distraction kills purpose, but we always think it is head way, because we don't know what's ahead. School days, I was a politician and stakeholder. You should know what that means, from one meeting to another and almost every aspirant must have a piece of time as well. Regardless, I still try to excel in my studies, obviously among top 10 in a class of 90 something. Seeing my 1st class friends strolling into PWC, Shell & KPMG brings that had I know tots grin life they say goes on anyway.

Even my service year, after camp, I didn't really hang out with mates. My PPA is 2 days and CDS is in-between one of those days. Practically, I only spend 2 days and back to Lagos. All in the bid to get going and not just sit empty doing nothing. But nah here we deh now, loading meme's grin

Thank you for your reply sir
though I don’t know how to drive yet I have always have that passion for driving, that apart
I would also like to use this as a step to greater things, being able to save up money for now and for the future that is after school,
and about my result I believe as long as I’m dedicated and I’m not joking with myself I can pull through
Maybe I might just have to find a balance between both.
Please your advice is still needed sir
God bless us all
P.S I’m studying Political science
With full sincerity
My main purpose of also driving is having atleast a stable income
It’s not easy being in school and not knowing where your next school fees will be coming from

Guys, i have a question. For every 20k drivers make, how much fuel is used?

I want to compare the amount of fuel used by corolla users and Honda accord users to see if the difference is negligible.

Accord is more comfortable and less boring. How much fuel to pay for that comfort?

My point boss, there's a difference between anticipating and seeing things from apprehensive angle. If it is due to school fees and striking balance, then it is understandable. But if it is due to dashboard and dorime, I'll say give yourself some time, everything that is yours will come to you in the right time.

Now you have hurdles to jump. 1st start by learning how to drive and getting your licence if you don't have one.
