Nope, it's better you go for a Post graduate studies

I entirely agree with @nenny4alz. Please apply for a post-graduate program if you have completed post-secondary education. Although no IRPA or IRPR restricts certain age to a particular level of education, I believe visa officers put age into consideration when assessing if an applicant is a bona fide student.

I don’t recommend it, but if you must apply, you must have solid reasons for attending an undergraduate program at your age, and other aspects of your application, such as finance, ties etc., must be equally strong. For example, if you are going for an undergraduate program at 37yrs, ensure your sponsor is a close relative, have some funds in your account, demonstrate strong ties, pay a large portion of your tuition fees, and you will stand a chance. Most importantly, your SOP must emphasize why you are going for an undergraduate program and, if applicable, the circumstance that made you unable to obtain one earlier. This is a weak area in your application; therefore, ensure that other areas are strong.

I have written to an MP but he said he can't do anything until I elapse the processing time which is 12 weeks.

I don't think you will get any response from either the MPs or IRCC cos your application is still very much within the Processing time..

You only send mails to IRCC when your application has passed the approved IRCC processing time for study permit application and send mails to MPs when your Resumption date is getting close without any response from IRCC yet.

2. You can also start sending follow-up e-mails and webform since your resumption is about two weeks away. I would advise you to liaise with your department for possible deferral or start with online classes. You can plan to travel later when you get your approval in case of further processing delays, so you don’t lose your seat in the programme.

3. . Another option you can explore is to order your GCMS notes. Although, the department that processes the GCMS notes request is different from the visa processing unit. You may be lucky the request might trigger a closer look into your file.

4. Prayer factor cannot be underestimated.

I have send mails to all the MPs but no one replied.

I think, it's only when your application is beyond the process time (12weeks) that's when MP will intervene on your application. That should be the reason the MPs didn't respond to your message.

Yes, it's possible, A friend of mine is 41 year, and got admission into undergraduate program. His application was approved last year, but I think you should be the one that will sponsor yourself. Because that IRCC believe that if you're above 25 year, you should be able to sponsor yourself not that another person will stand as a sponsoral for your program.

You were already responded to above, either go to VFS office and get it sorted or pay a transmission fee. That would do.

Just as @Bullstriker mentioned it may not favour you statistically if you cannot prove strong ties or finances. My spouse is a Medical Doctor but going for a diploma in IT and she got approved. Your story just has to make sense.

Ask your school if you can pay in instalments, so that even if you retrieve money through black market it won’t be as much cause you are paying half the fees, as for the form A, it really takes time cause they operate on a first come first serve basis, do it in advance for future payments.

Oh yes, I tried but they will not budge. The program is full and so unable to grant fee extension.

Hi Divine, have you tried seeking an extension from the school? You can send them the Form A acknowledgement for them to know that the payment process has started.

Yes boss, they do. The time IRCC updates biometrics has nothing to do with the outcome of the application.

How about the time they take to process the application. Cos I’ve seen people that got their bio updated to complete the same day gets ppr faster.
