Hello great people,

Sometime in January this year 2022, I created a thread about my 4 year old daughter who always wants to sleep on same bed with me an wife. I was looking out for pragmatic solutions to the problem we had already created. Below is a link

There were coruscating feedbacks as I learnt alot. Thanks to all those who contributed to the thread. Ofcourse I applied some of the recommendations and the result is tremendously positive.

We started with praising her that she's already a big girl and she deserves her space

We had to do some rearrangements in her room.

She slept with us for a week before she gave in

The first 2 months were filled with excuses from her. Either she wants to use the toilet or she wants her light on etc...she comes knocking every night around 2am. Lol

Sometimes , my wife goes over to sleep with her till morning. Sometimes when we're are tired we just let her in.

During the 3rd month we became very firm and stopped giving in to her excuses. She realized we weren't joking so she started becoming used to her room. Although sometimes she'll stay in the lobby and cry alot and it almost became emotional, but thank goodness we didn't fall for that.

Around the 4th month, she started playing a prank. Anytime I'm trying to watch a program in my room at night, she'll tell me she wants to keep me company and I'll oblige not knowing she's using that to catch sleep in our room...lol. However, we'll still have transfer her later.

Beyond the 4th month, we didn't need to inform her before she goes on to bed.


I just thought of reverting because it's the honorable thing to do. I sincerely appreciate the contributions. Recently she turned 5.

Yes we were determined.

A good take-home for me is that training kids needs some level of tactical and emotional intelligence. Once kids study you and Know your weakness, they capitalize on it and if care is not taken, they'll start dictating to you. This is how bad characters starts to develop.

Firmness is very key especially when you are doing what's best for them.

Most children are like that ,ceven baby girls but people react less girl child than they would the boy child , because it looks akward ,it's also why baby girls express themselves more than boys

Both my two sisters loved playing with nipples too , especially when they're sucking their hand , it doesn't matter who's breast they're touching so far as they can find the nipple, not just them once I was in a saloon and another woman was complaining about her daughter too for the same issue , I think it's very common and shouldn't be looked at from a perversive point of view , he's 5 , he won't understand it yet
