Seriously, I hate violence, but the way you guys are sounding, you are sounding like you can match the Igbos man for man. Remember how daring the Igbos are, they are just being careful because of their investment here, that's all. You don't taunt the Hausa/Fulani man where they are more dominant in Lagos. You guys are just making it look like you are a match to Igbos madness when it starts.

The Igbos have not had issue with Yorubas before in terms of physical combat, but they are daring the same Northerners you guys are scared of, this should make you understand that these people are not scared of you but just because of the close affinity and how Lagos have become "Our Second Home", so, no man with a genuine heart would want to mess up where he gets his daily bread from and where he sees as his second home. Aside these fact, I beg you, don't push the Igbos.

We see you guys as more as our brothers regardless of our political differences.

You need reminding that it was Yorubas that stopped the flow of food to Biafra and Obasanjo that wrapped it up.

It is not by gragra and muscle. We are smarter than you anyday. Stop beating your scrawny chests and just make sure next time you make arrangements for food

Well, king Kosoko in Lagos State around 1500 faced 500 British ship armada, twice in six months and defeated the British on both occassions. The second attack was however brutal on King Kosoko because the British after the first campaign went back to great Britain to gather more arms and ammunitions.

This is true history from the libraries of the UK. Go and verify.

You forgot to include that Russia and France fought on the side of Biafrans, so the war was not of Igbos alone. Nigeria also had Britain on her side, so it was a balanced war; well a little imbalanced because it was in favour of Igbos that had two countries for them as against the Nigerian government that had just UK with them.

Similitude of Russia-Ukraine war lingering on for weeks because NATO, the US, UK and France are all in it on the side of Ukraine by supplying them arms, ammunition and personnel. Ukraine alone stands no chance against Russia just like Biafra alone stood no chance against Nigeria alone at that time.

Please these are not from distorted history. Go and verify.

Even if she says the bolded, it will be wise and mature for anyone not to pay her any attention. In fact,
informing the authorities should be the next step and she will be rightly charged for disturbance of public peace. Wisdom profiteth much and at a time when the air is a little tense like this, trying to bring harmony should be the watchword for both sides.

If a scuffle were to break out and the two sides are to use their advantages in Lagos, one side clearly will trash the other, but like I said that is where wisdom comes in.

It will be foolhardy to brag to someone you know has everything to get you humbled when there is an alternative approach of peace. Knowing your boundary is one way to attain that peace. That is why Yorùbás living elsewhere outside the south west in Nigeria have tried as much as possible not to draw undue attention to themselves by trying to claim undue ownership in the lands of their hosts. This is despite the fact that as Nigerians, everyone has a right to live peacefully anywhere in geographical Nigeria. Any Yoruba person that wakes up one day and says Kano or cosmopolitan Onitsha is no man's land just because he has had generations of his family born and bred there is on his own.

That is what is causing serious problems for Fulanis in Nigeria of today that they have become an anathema to every true born Nigerian, even to the Hausa that they're closely knitted to.

Ojukwu's father was the backbone of the Nigeria Stock Exchange and attracted very many Ibo with their businesses and companies into Lagos at the time. He was so rich and by his net worth then he would still be richer than many Nigerian billionaires now. From this, many Ibos came to settle in Lagos but geographically, Lagos remains southwestern and calling it NO MAN'S LAND is an insult to the Yoruba's. It caused a serious quarrel between my Yoruba friend and an Ibo lady during my NYSC.

Claiming the area belonging to the Yoruba's as a free for all territory is not only wrong but also a very unintelligent thing to say. It should annoy any Yoruba that hears it. Even if your forefathers stayed there, it's wrong to consider it yours or no man's land. We have regions and a majority tribe dominates in these regions.

Non-Yoruba's in Lagos may be more than the Yoruba's there but it's still no justification. Lagos is situated in Yoruba southwestern region.

Facts and figures young man not the usual IPOB bullcrap.

You people just talk anyhow in your umunna meetings
In the real world intelligent people talk with facts

So tell the whole world how much Lagos gets from Alaba That it does not get from the stock exchange, from the other meaningful business in Lagos it is from the rubbish you do at Alaba that Lagos is sustained.

You can deceive them in Awoamama with these stupid stories not us in Lagos

We are closing it down and the replacement go shock una

Facts bro! We will move them to the fringes of Lagos. We also moving computer village to kotangora, plus they will also pay a lot to rent shops at the new computer village. They also told them that the ikeja location is a residential area. So they will be kicked out once the new site is ready. You could do a bit of research to get more details on the relocation of computer village.

They will be kicked to the fringes of Lagos so less sales for them. People will rather buy their gadgets at the malls instead of heading to kotangora. That ikeja central location really helped them… not any more though. Those phones and laptops cost the same at ikeja city mall so no need for potential customers to head to the edges of lagos to get one. Those stores at the mall are owned by Indians, Lebanese and other Nigerians. I’d rather give my money to lebanese or Indians than the people from that region. If sales bad then make them move back to their region

We will use the stroke of the pen to cut them to size in this Lagos. I always tell them.. the pen is mightier than the sword. Let them continue to chest beat. I can’t wait the see these new policies set in.

These guys barely generate revenue for the Lagos state government compared to the sectors like manufacturing, banking, telecoms, hospitality, entertainment etc, yet they brag. Lol. I’ll attach the companies that actually make Lagos what it is today. NB: this are just the top 10, imagine what 11 to 100 will be. Dangote refinery, fertilizer, Lekki seaport, Badagry seaport, imota and the numerous other manufacturing projects aren’t even fully operational or in service yet. Now you can see the potential are endless. These are the highest corporate tax payers to the FG but they also generate PAYEE (personal income tax) for the LASG. The PAYEE they generate dwarfs whatever crumbs those 2 by 2 shops pay to LASG.

In fact, these people actually drag down the GDP of Nigeria because all they do is container economics like the great Asiwaju noted a few years ago. All they do is import finished goods with little to no manufacturing and thus zero export. So you see they are actually a net negative to the economy. Parasites thinking they have value grin.

These folks are actually the unity beggars because the 200milliion Nigerians are the ready made market for them to sell their imported goods. They get their new country and everything changes. No more readily accessible market anymore. They will be subjected to taxes et al. Why do you think most of their elites are vehemently against the division of Nigeria?

Nestle generated 43B naira profit with revenue of 110B naira Q1 2022. I can guarantee most of their manufacturing are in Lagos and ogun plus the SW is where they generate most of their sales. grin. So you can imagine. We also can’t underestimate the value chain these huge companies contribute to the Lagos economy and the SW via indirect employment etc. when we tell them Yoruba are not their mate, they will be chest beating and pouring saliva. When oduduwa nation comes, they will be allowed to remain here but will be subject to stringent immigration and labour laws. Them no go tell them before they pack run go their new country. Any one of them wey try me, I go just use army carry am lock am up and get them deported back to that desolate/gloomy region where they shamefully kill and devour themselves. Check the list I uploaded. I have also prepared a topic on this specific issue. I’ll be posting it later.

It’s about time the Lagos state government reason their matter. I’m certain Tinubu and Sanwo olu will figure it out after the election like you alluded to earlier, especially considering the hate and resentment they have shown for Asiwaju and the Yoruba people in general this election cycle. I’m sure he will deal with them. It’s about time we show them Lagos is not a no man’s land. Continue to stand up for your people. I appreciate it. Stay blessed! Aje
