Good morning Naira land family. Been following the trends till i found this one. Please I’m in desperate need of help. I graduated university in 2010, read mass comm, did mt masters in mass comm as well, graduated this year. However i have been a banker for almost 10years and have experience in sales, customer service and HR. I want to apply for a PGD in canada because its cheaper and I won’t need to get a supervisor unlike masters or phd. Now I found university of newfoundland and college of north atlantic. I tried to apply but could not. Because the site was asking for health care number. Can anyone who has applied to the college of north atlantic help me? My husband is also experienced in journalism and i would want to apply for him too. Which ever works. Plus has anyone applied for visa with their entire family and gotten? Please i need advise, anything I want to be out of here by may next year. Biko 2 Likes |

ciaj0: 1. You will find a reference number on the Invoice generated by the Western Platform. WU will not process the payment without the ref no. ensure you fill this details in the bank transfer document. 2. The 3 day timeline does not apply. WU will process your payment even a month after you generate the invoice using the rate on that day. Forex through form A take a minimum of 3 -4 weeks this days. |

Hello, please who knows how I can book a flight to Toronto for 5th of September? All the flights I have been seeing have stops in the US and I heard you need a visa to transit through the US. Please is this true? |

yes, you need a transit visa if you are transiting through US. Use this website, google flights to check on airlines tha won't transit through the US. You will get better options. danielak1: |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by johnstan(m): 10:15am On Aug 23, 2022 |
inspector1: Yes you can as there's no rule on the kind of account to use. Your SOP should explain why you're using the account i.e who are the signatories, who funds the account, letter/affidavit of sponsorship from them, how are you all related, proof that you're all related etc. Don't forget to add your own personal account if you include that your working at the moment. Good luck. 1 Like |

Good morning everyone. It’s been a minute. I had to take a breather off NL. Anyways I am back. I would like to ask this question. So sorry if it has been asked before. Last week, news came in that we can do drop off and pick up of our passports at the Canadian Consulate and no other form of drop off or pick up (DHL) would be attended to. Questions are, is that how it is now for study permit visa? Has anyone directly submitted to the embassy? What documents did you bring along with you? Thank you for your responses. July applicants, how market? Na God hand we all Dey o. We have our testimonies. Our help has come. We shall all rejoice before the end of this month, amen. What God can not do does not exist. 5 Likes |

Hello bosses. Can I travel 3 month before my course. Class starts January, but I want to travel by mid October because I need the study permit to process SOWP for my wife since they aren’t attending to visit visa presently. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by johnstan(m): 10:47am On Aug 23, 2022 |
Jhabulani: I think you can but you won't be able to work since your school would not resume till Jan - that's three months expenses before you are able to make any income. |

olutoyiin: You don't need to open bank details in order to accept your award. Simply go to your student portal, and check where your financial details are, there you would find scholarships and award. You can see where the international tuition award might be and accept the offer. Direct Deposit is sometimes optional and it is helpful when you get to Canada and open your bank account. Then you can include your bank details, Direct Deposit is a system that allows you to withdraw funds from your student portal to your bank account. It takes at least 3 working days and the money would hit your bank account. Congratulations on your award. Actually speaking from experience with Simon Fraser University, Same province with your school. Regards |

Olayinkaji: You can use your family friend's SOA if you can prove that he/she has always been a source of support to you, the person should provide an affidavit of sponsorship and any other receipts, you could even upload pictures taken with two of you Innit to show that your friends etc. Good luck. 1 Like |

Hi, you can call one of the banks. An account can be opened from Nigeria but you will have to verify the account when you arrive in Canada by visiting the branch. You won't be able to make withdrawals, though. Since you are yet to get a visa but you have the award from the school, you can call the bank directly to confirm before sending your school an email. Sending an email doesn't make you naive but it will be better if you check the banks before doing so. Congratulations on your award. Wish you the best. @chuksinfotech gave a good solution. olutoyiin: |

uzogbodo1988: Going for a PGD after masters can be a red flag, however, if you can prove the reason for your decision in your SOP then you should be fine. I'm not sure what you mean by health care/number when you're not yet in Canada to process one, you might need to wait for someone who have applied to these schools to explain that to you. People have applied with their fam and gotten visa, however, you will need to really prove sufficient hometies since you plan to move your whole fam at once. Good luck |

Hi Enddystar, there's no standard way so you can attach the necessary documents showing the property is yours. Then, also explain further in your LOE. (You can add a picture of you and your family in the property, if you like - not necessary, though) You can also wait for others to respond. Enddystar: |

Good morning house I was offer admission in Arts & science-Bachelor of Arts for 2022 fall term and I was to start by Sept lst 2022 I know the process of applying for my study permit is long, so meeting up with the resumption date of lst September will be unrealistic. I will need the house to guide me on how to go about it. |

Alongside the Deed of Assignment, you can as well include the Land survey document and C of O if available. They should all be in your name. Enddystar: |
