The tables are set for a great season. Nets, Celtics, GSW, Clippers, Bucks and the Sixers if Harden gets back to all-nba form, all have a legitimate case for winning it all next season.

Like I said after he demanded a trade, every team considered a trade for him and the Celtics were not any different. Trading JB for KD was going to be a tough sell, especially for the Boston fanbase. KD makes up for a lot of things but JB was the better of the 2 J's in the Finals. I was very sure it wasn't going to happen mostly because of the other pieces that it will cost the Celtics in addition to losing JB and that is why I stayed quiet when there was noise on this thread.

The demand for a trade by KD is important for the Nets because while it ruffles feathers, it reminds everyone in the organization that they can not be comfortable. I expect Steve Nash's approach to coaching to be mature and better while the GM and other management will become more accountable. More importantly, no one understands the weight of expectation going into this season better than KD. Getting swept by the Celtics definitely did not sit well with KD.

I think they have a good rotation, any team with KD is expected to contend.

Bulking up is the easiest fix, OKC will take care of that. It’s part of the training development. KD, Unibrow, Jokic, Giannis all came into the league with little or no muscles but look at them today.

It’s just sad that we are not going to see him this season. It will be huge test of his mental strength.

I definitely thought he was going to need to bulk up going into the season. It would be better he uses that offseason to do so. Obviously the fact that it was Lebron barging into him doesn't help matters but a 7ft under 200 just won't fly

I think they are already there? Didnt lack of play time factor into Harden heading to the Rockets. OKC could find itself in the same scenario again.

Rockets tried to pick complementary pieces, and even let some young talent go. And it still is a head scratcher how our young pieces will fit into a team that can make the playoffs in the west, and at the same time give them all enough play time.

Called the Cleveland trade but totally whiffed on the compensation. A backcourt of Garland and Donovan is not that bad especially with Mobley and Allen cleaning up things on the inside.
