Please I would like to know if it's okay to transfer some money from my pof account to my other account that I intend on using for form A to pay off my school fees balance. Stanbic messed me up so I am using another bank. I emailed UKVI and got a response yesterday that decision has been made, but, I am I am yet to get my collection email which naturally should have been due on Monday the 22nd of August.

Someone commented on my post and he attached a number to it. Check..like last 4 post.

You have to call and they will tell you that you have to wait for 24 or 48hours don't answer them oo.. Tell them it is stated in there website that they should assist to hasten it. In not more than an hour you should get your ticket

The fear is that your visit visa was denied (even after you cancelled) due to the ECO not being satisfied with your finances. Now, you are applying for a Student visa, except you have sufficient funding in form of exteranl funding (e.g scholarship), how do you plan to prove financial ability to take care of your bills? Remember, they have your financial records from the visit visa application ( so, money can't just pump in from somewhere except you have strong proof).

For the cover letter, exactly as you have explained above

1. The visit visa you applied for, did you go for the biometrics capture?
2. The scholarship you got recently is it fully-funded one?

Reason for this is that once you are captured your record remains with them whether you withdraw or not. This means they already know you do not have funds in your bank account via the bank statement you submitted earlier. So except you have a scholarship that covers your entire stay in the UK, presenting another POF bank statement may be seen as dodgy.

My opinion though.

Got into aberdeen finally with lots of experiences in my journey but the little one I will like to share is make sure you have your proof of funds intact cos some immigration officers can ask you to log in and show them or show them cash and accommodation you have in place if you are coming with family.
I saw a nigerian guy who at the brink of being deported but I pray he scaled through. The officer checked something on his phone, then took his documents inside for almost 1 hour and return with a support officer to take the guy into another room for secondary interrogation.
Everyone case different aim at the best prepare for the worst

For the student visa, I got a fully funded scholarship so i didn't put in any information regarding my bank statement. I have tuition and stipend.

So for the cover letter, I should write that I was refused a visitor's visa in the past right? But that i didn't mention it because a decision was made on my application yesterday.

Do I need to explain the issue with my finances even if I'm fully sponsored?

Since it's for your fees please and please, keep the screenshot/evidence of the transfer from account A to Account B and the form A copy you are raising online

If you can print them and attach together and hold as part of your documents you travel with just in case
