Glithronix: Like the request I got on inDriver last Friday, I got to the destination and rider delayed me for over 10mins, I didn't bother cos the pay was worth it even if I was delayed for 20mins. Rider showed up when 2 persons, making dem 3. Now to navigate, they changed mind and requested to cancel and change destination so that I can accept them since we were all together in the car. I cancelled with drive didn't show. He changed destination to a longer destination (53mins) with the same price of the previous (34mins), he said I should I accept, I said 'NO', I can't accept this price for that trip, it's not favourable. Las las, I asked them out of the car and stayed there till I got another nice trip. I Left them there standing while my trip got in and nobody accepted their offer. How can you put 2.4k for a trip of almost 1hr? Some people self are wicked. Well, I know some drivers go accept am sha. You just need to know what you're doing, you don't follow bandwagon. Know what works best for you and satisfies you, that's all you need. I got a trip out of that place immediately, 2.2k for 28mins, 6mins to pick the rider who was waiting at a bank. I just like that peace of mind inDriver gives + their commission % (at the moment). On inDriver, 90% of my passengers are female. I don't know why I feel so comfortable taking female riders ONLY, I swear. If I see a supposed man's name, I dey ignore am. I need to do something about this, so that my earnings will increase. Any psychological help? Inside life. Much respect, bosses. Seem we can be mean with the way we reason as human. On Tuesday some thing strange happened to me. I got a request around 4 30pm from PGD's to Surulere for 3200. Rider called and ask me to please pick someone there and I should use Adeola Hopewell while leaving there to pick him too. I was like that won't be possible unless he will be adding to the fare. Back and forth will settled for additional 500, since they have learn the habit of saying that is how we use to take it and no driver has ever ask us to add. Got to PGD's and call the person I am supposed to pick. He replied with" I am on my way down". 10 mins of waiting, I have to call him again. This time, he replied with we are almost down. In my mind "WE" I dislike that word like mad. I ask, did you just say we? He replied with yes... please how many is we? 3. Told him I will get back to him. Place a call to the person that book the ride and his reply was... no nah! They should not be more than 2, because we are 2 here the way I changed it for him oga! Please cancel this trip, what kind of rubbish is all these nonsense. You just successfully waste my time. Set of mad people contributing 700 hundred each and yet will inconvenience my life with different complain with preferred route. Immediately he cancelled the trip, I got another to Surulere from Oriental for 3100. It took me 2 hrs to get to Surulere on Tuesday. I can't even imagine going to Adeola hopewell with the construction going on around there to pick someone. I would have been placing curse on them right from the car. 9 Likes |

Glithronix: As a newbie on e-hailing, my little experience and differentiation between bolt and InDriver is the surge bolt takes as an advantage. If there's no surge on bolt, your earnings will not worth it. If there's surge on bolt, you will smile at the end of the day and might ignore their 25% cut. That means, I will have to be hustling on bolt ONLY when there's surge to smile. Bolt na good platform cos they have everything in place, but that 25% plus driver score drop if a rider cancels, thats the pressure and it cages drivers to work as if they're employed by bolt, where as, it's just partnership - though, measures and discipline can be put in place to protect their company's stat. Not you suffering for riders cancelling and if you ignore rides that come to you, you suffer your rates. InDriver is completely opposite of that. Surge or no surge, pick the ride that pays you. And you don't expect yourself to always hit huge on inDriver, just set a target. Like someone who once asked if he could net 20k daily on bolt, you must gross 35k to achieve it., but with 29k on inDriver, you already hit 20k net and you still have change and fuel reserved. This comes with peace of mind. No pressure to accept all orders. No pressure if riders cancels, but your money will be held for 10 days if you were the one that cancelled. If you aske me to choose, I will choose peace of mind which is inDriver. Now, 20k net daily, you know how much you have in a week and total in a month - greed is not required for someone who's still growing. Your bills are taken care of. Responsibility taken care of and you will live good categorically. Despite my diversion to inDriver, I still use bolt to set destination especially when I know that my route (row-tu ) holds huge traffic. Or maybe I just want to move to a particular location. If I see red pepper fully blown on bolt, I'm driving for bolt. If bolt go white lasan, omoh, no time. Sometimes, with bolt on surge, I feel more comfortable with inDriver, cos the freedom and peace of mind, and knowing where your destination is already before picking the ride and getting paid even before dropping the rider, and the feel you have when you're surfing inDriver like you're playing video game. Bolt no get that one. Whether surge or no surge, make bolt reduce their % and review drivers score and rate policies. I got built on bolt, but still, peace of mind is crucial, I can port to anyone I feel more comfortable with, which you people always tagged NO LOYALTY to any platform. Abeg, make una education me where I am getting it wrong with my views, I didn't post this to cause a Derby match ooh, as Una know me, I always post my views and learn from corrections. Much respect, bosses and chairmen. Repent!!! 1 Like |
