Why even?
Nigeria's football league was most competitive and interesting until politicians in sports ministry destroyed the league and left what we have today.
In response, Nigeria's football lovers now watch foreign, especially, European leagues. Some Nigerians who live in Nigeria but would've loved to be outside Nigeria get fixated on watching European football league with a feeling that they are live in Europe.

Boring is a highly subjective term.

This OP may not like Bollywood movies too. Some others may. He may not like Game of thrones.

That may be others' interest.
Many people discuss a broad range of things in their interests. History of economic thought. Cancer research, Semiconductor research & development,
WW2 battles. The industrial revolution etc.

This world would be poorer if we all had same interests.

But football has to be most fun thing on earth. Don't you just like the idea that two sides come to clash with each other determined to win the other but without an idea of how prepared the other side is?
