Drawing private investors to the country is one of the financial successes. There is a reason nobody will want to invest his money where it is not economically viable to recoup their investments.
For example, nobody will want to invest his money in a place where they don't go to work on Mondays, nor in a place where there is poor spending power.

It is not Nigerians, it is mainly people from a particular tribe. Several years ago as a student in the University in South East, one thing we (Yorubas & very few North central students) have come to realise is that bitterness & hatred don't allow them to accept any objective reasoning, deep thinking and analysis. We have come to accept it and live with it all the six years of studentship. Our seniors gave us some orientations about the environment and the socio - cultural inclination of the environment.

Unfortunately, about 95% of students from core north withdrew before year three leaving mainly students from Kwarra (now kwara & Kogi) and middle belt as the 5%.

Coming back to State Government using Tax Consultants for IGR collection, it started during the Military. I did one of my Industrial Training as a University Student with a Tax Consultant to Lagos State. Later, we were given Kano State and I think Rivers State later. Many Accounting firms know the company I am talking about. Though later, there was protest within the big Accounting firms to the Military government (ABACHA) to stop State government from using consultants to collect IGR. We know it was out of envy because they felt the company with many States as clients is becoming very rich. I would not know if the Military (Abacha) later stopped it.

Some countries in Africa have come to Lagos State on visit to study the model of government in use and Tax system is inclusive. It is not a surprise if Alpha Beta Consultant is found operating outside Nigeria using another name.

I stopped worrying myself over IBO comments on Tinubu since 2015.

That's a lie. States can generate its revenue thru its inter al revenue agencies if well structured out and payments are made directly to government coffers. What's the function of LIRS if not revenue generation?

Consultations maybe but generation is a wrong. In Lagos State, the reverse is the case. LIRS is doing consultation while the company is doing generation and when the founders and owners of the organization are those in the ruling party and former political holders of public trust. Extorting people wrongly and still using people hard earned money for their own personal aggrandizement and still be lying to me that they did this and that when it's tax payers monies that does all they are claiming accolades for. Not their personal monies.

Tinubu and his forty thieves should swear its all their personal monies they spending and used in acquiring all that he is claiming today, I made men, I built this, I did that, I donated this.... nonsense

As I've always said, if not for concerns about Tinubu's ability to withstand the rigorous demands of the office of the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, none of the other candidates come close to him in both management of human and material resources. Is it Obi that couldn't raise the IGR of Anambra state in 8 years? Or Atiku that bungled the privatization process he was given responsibility for? Before you talk about Lagos being a former capital and Tinubu having it easy, let's not forget that prior to his emergence as governor, IGR was at 600 million. He brought many structural and institutional reforms that laid a blueprint for his successors. But haba! Tinubu is old and should just have taken a position as a party leader and statesman. Present either Fashola or Osinbajo not be jostling for the presidency as if without it, his life isn't complete.
If I were to vote tho, I wont vote for Tinubu cause I'm not entirely convinced he still has the mental and physical energy for Nigeria's myraid of problems and that's where Obi comes in. I'm not convinced he's the messiah as he's being painted but at least he's younger and would most definitely do better than Atiku. Anyhow Sha, I won't vote cause Las Las, they are all the same.
