I can't just believe what i'm seeing here via that it seems like a herculean task to provide JUST an evidence of Tinubu's projects commissioning in Lagos state during his tenure buh what I do read every time here is Tinubu's Lagos,Tinubu's Lagos,that Nigerians would try to vote Tinubu to replicate his so called Lagos audio looted magic in Nigeria.
So my question is,where are the magics ,projects and other things Tinubu did that people wouldn't hear word about Lagos,as if Lagos is now Paris eeh?

Tinubu didn't do anything special.

He only expanded taxes to those who weren't taxed before 1999, and started double taxing those who were paying taxes using touts.

He brought touts to markets taxing traders, brought tax on road users and increased state taxes for companies.

Note: this was the end of military rule, which wasn't a revenue driven period.

All states increased their revenue after 1999.

The reason you guys are campaigning with this is because Tinubu didn't do anything noteworthy.

Upon all the IGR Tinubu still left a debt of 100 billion for Fashola with no government funded project to show for it.

The reason he increased the state revenue is so that his share from the 10% Alpha Beta charge will increase as well.
The guy might have drawn up a master plan for the development of Lagos, which is quite commendable. But with him and his cronies milking the state excessively, as well as being the sole decider of who governs the state,it really amazes me when I see people support his presidential bid. Stockholm syndrome comes to mind.

Stop saying this. I wonder where you guys get these stories from. Tinubu collected lagos allocation in full from inception of democracy up till march 2004. He then collected 80% of the allocation up till the end of his tenure when the accumulated 20% arrears were paid. Yet , he embezzled all, told lies and left a 100 billion naira debt( which equates to a trillion naira now) with no project to show except lagos mainland hospital. Any givernor would have done what he did by increasing IGR as lagos was congested no thanks to the federal government who made lagos the only functional seaport in nigeria

Which IGR did Tinubu increase, when APC wicked propagandist campaign they share the Lagos current IGR value as if Fashola, Ambode and Sanwolu are dunce and puppet.

I told people that I lived in Lagos before Tinubu and was also in Lagos after Tinubu, there was nothing spectacular from him.
Before Tinubu came , Buba Marwa was winning award left, right ,center with this same state called Lagos.

Tinubu was just coincidentally lucky to be in Lagos at the return of Democracy which offered more foreign investors enabling environment to flood Nigeria. Which state is the business hub, - Lagos (not by any extra act/action from Lagos state government) , so the growth was triggered by our return to democracy and not for any special leadership tact from Tinubu.

Some people said Lagos accommodated everyone and even allowed Igbo's to aspire and vie for some positions under Tinubu, they forgot about the beauty of democracy, any group with large population becomes a stakeholder. That is why Lagos Cabinet will be different from Anambra, Gombe or Osun. Lagos is a cosmopolitan state unlike those other states I listed. So Tinubu did not do anything spectacular.

When he is president Ministers eill be delegated to commission projects, not president.

The governor should be meeting President, VP, Ministers, Foreign diplomats, CEOs and institutional leaders. He has commissioners for a reason, to support and help him serve communities.

Tinubu is ahead of Obi, who as governor impeded his commissioners from doing their duties. What kind of president would he be? He will not allow minister do hin ministerial job. Na President go dey take contractor around site to survey foundation and forest.

His project is bringing investors to Lagos. He has done that very well. Go and look at pictures of him during his terms, always with one foreign diplomat or the other. Always with one CEO or the other. Always at one owambe or the other feting party leaders, billionaire investors, monarchs and so on.
