The same template being used now and they are introducing parking levies in Lagos because income tax is dwindling because companies and SMEs are closing down in Lagos so to raise money they come up with this tax and expect more because Lagos needs to service it's huge debts that is hard to explain based on the projects on ground. So we can safely say, Tinubu is a professional TAX COLLECTOR. Because the last time I checked Tinubu met an IGR of about 1.2b and he moved it to about 6b, that was during his tenure but miraculously when he finished his tenure and employed to be collecting the tax, it went sporadically to 51b today. Meaning he is a good tax collector than an administrator.
To this end, when Peter Obi becomes the president of Nigeria in 2023, he will be employ as chairman of FIRS to help Nigeria collect tax by his alphabeta company but we will not pay him 10% he is collecting from Lagos. We will only pay him 1%. If he can't take it, we won't give him.

Every country has a commercial capital. It happens to be Lagos because it was a former capital of the the country and the only other state with an international airport besides FCT and a viable port. All of that has nothing to do with Tinubu.

I wouldn't say tinubu or his successor didn't work in Lagos but believe me, if someone else had become governor in Lagos when tinubu became the governor, it wouldn't still change the fact that Lagos state is a land of many opportunities which investors wouldn't want to miss.

Anyone else would have made Lagos Generate that IGR and probably be saner than what it is today...
