I have to agree. This upcoming season, the East is going to be stronger than the West once again and they are going to feast on each other, thereby weakening the team that appears in the finals.

In the last 20 years, The Warriors have pulled the most ratings in the NBA finals. The most recent one still topped Lebron and the Lakers as well as Giannis and his bucks. If anyone cites COVID-19 tell them that every other shows' ratings improved as a result of it. I mean viewership not attendance. And it is not because of the Celtics. We are box office.

In addition, Curry has become the face of the NBA again. He is in all the commercials, hosted the ESPYs and dominated most of the news stories before the KD brouhaha (they even tried to lie using our name to get the news to generate more buzz). As soon as that was sorted, the news shifted back to Curry and the Warriors. We will virtually be on every other televised games this coming season, more times than Bucks and Lakers were given in the last 2 years having won championships. The bus parade, Draymond Green's marriage and Curry's graduation all dominated sports news. Curry is the Cinderella man: winning his first Finals MVP and everyone maybe except Creep Bayless now agreeing he is a top 10 player in NBA history.

You raise a good point about competitive psychopaths but the truth is competitive psychopaths as described never have closure mentally. They always believe they can play forever. Many times it is their loved ones or people around them who help them stop because it feels like a drug you are addicted to.

Observe the GOAT Jordan whenever he is interviewed, he almost smacks whenever he talks about today’s game and the noise about their abilities. Almost like I can still do this in my sleep! People in this category have nothing to prove, absolutely nothing after playing this long. The Bucs are not winning the SB. Their roster has changed significantly, including coaching and that is why Brady wanted to go to Miami when he decided to return.

Keep in mind that Brady’s decision to un-retire changes what his family may have agreed upon before the end of last season and that has to be difficult for the family. Gisele has made a ton of sacrifice since his playing career, including her modeling career and the kids so it’s okay for her to be upset and disappointed that he wants to go back; it doesn’t mean she doesn’t love him.

Remember, while Brady has tapped his way to staying healthy because of the protections he has enjoyed, his long term health post playing career is something she is also considering and one bit can change all of that.
