Shut up and act sensible for once, though we know you're not. You were sane enough to address him as PPRO, what do you think is job description is? That Lai Mohammed is busy talking bull sh*t always, what else do you expect of him considering his portfolio, to say Boohaarii or apceee has failed? The PPRO's job is to chukk mouth inside every police shit, dirtyz & glories, especially in Lagos. Know this & know peace. undecided
Ignorant louse feeling funky.

Yes let court decides her fate
She overdo abeg
She didn't overdo IMO. Yes she reacted but to what? If she commit a
offence, he should state it but don't make death threats. Death threat in today's Nigeria, shouldnt be taking lightly. We shouldn't always think it's everytime people step down on us that it will always slide. Nigerian police is one of the worst security outfit in this country cos they lack truth and integrity. I can't imagine the several lies and twists following g this encounter

Neway, I hope justice will be served since she will have her day in court but na kuku dem dey teach us. Dealing with them requires new approach. Na to go buy camcorder to dey record interactions with police from the very minute you site them.

We must distinguish between a misdemeanor and a criminal act. The police PRO, in my own opinion is a hypocrite.

An unarmed citizen was physically and verbally threatened with being killed by the gun of a Nigerian police and she reacted emotionally.

The woman's lawyer should advise her to claim "temporary insanity" that was caused by the psychological threat of the unprofessional policeman and also counter sue to police for inflicting violent verbal threat and severe emotional trauma on this female Nigerian citizen.

They should also make sure the trial is well publicised in both social and traditional media.

The Police PRO is a hypocrite
That's a point

U forgot one vital point here, She might have witnesses who will go to court with her the police only have that video from a phone and their colleagues, she can pluck up 20 witnesses from nowhere. Everything America, is that the only country i n the west?
Don't also forget that the judicial process in this clime is intentionally delayed for reasons that benefits some. Those assumed witnesses might not want to leave their hustles to come warm a bench for 3-4 hrs for case to be adjourned back to back for a span of 3 to 6 months grin
Leave Nigerian matter, pray God you don't have a criminal case in court here, because if you do, you're gonna hate your lawyer, the police prosecutor, court staff & prison waders aka correctional. They synergize to loot you from all fronts! Las_las na you come lose pass!

Burden of proof is on the accuser not the defendant! hope this was what u meant
of course the accuser has tendered a video where we saw a lady assaulting an officer of the law.evidence tendered and case proven.the defendant now accuses the accuser that the accuser left out part of the video, hence,it is now the duty of the defendant turned accuser to now prove that indeed, part of the video has been left out.do u now get it?

I have come to Nigeria to give expert witness statement B4 when someone was trying to claim damages etc, and also for other maters so I'm well inclined of how it works. Court cases are recognised at places of work so ur employer is obliged to give you the 2 to 5 hours needed.

Witness will show up if that was me, like 10 witnesses. They all will say the police threatened to shoot her and blow her off the face of the earth. That can get the officer dismissed and the lady can then turn around and file a civil suite and claim damages.

I believe she ought to have remained calm because the officer only said he will shoot her and she in turn attacked him.

As long as the officer didn't Assault her, then she have no right to assault an officer, moreover she can also record are her own part too.
I would like to know if you guys support a man being calm or walking away when a woman verbally insults or threaten him? What do you think?

grin Oseeee! You must remember that you have to prove everything single thing before the court. You will compound to your own problem when you're unable to do so as he who asserts must prove.

You should also then know that your record will be in public domain. Even if you scale through, no reasonable organization or group would want to touch you even with a long pipe. You will only have succeeded in scoring an own goal.

Scroll up and read reasonable comments by people who are humans and not bigots like you brazenly portrayed yourself to be. Nigeria Police is terrible, we know, same even in civilized climes but is the topic in discourse justifiable? No.....the babe goofed!

it's a complex question because it depends on the man's mood at that point in time because it would take an extra form of wisdom for a frustrated man to keep calm when he is been assaulted or abused by a female. I have reacted when a lady insulted me and it wasn't funny at all because it later backfired on me.

You will first be convicted but that will be the least of your worries. When you're out of jail, your 'temporary insanity' record will be in public domain. No organisation or group will touch you, even with a long pipe.

That evidence will not stand in court cos her lawyer will argue that some part of the video is missing as can be clearly heard by her asking him to repeat the gunning down part. The officer at this point chose to remain silent, however you can see they are all worried cos they called their Oga.
Beside we dnt know who the woman is, She could be Oga side chick or have a very big God grin grin grin
Not when she's being charged for assault. My dear, don't fall for this kind of trap, please. You will go to jail.

The judge & jury will not just believe her because she said it (accusation). She's gonna need a load of evidence to prove her claims. The police officer on the other hand has got a strong evidence to prove she's a wild uncivilized and aggressive woman who assault an armed police officer.
My money on the police to win the case.
She f#ked up
Now that's logical. Even if the police confirm he said so, we then begin to look at the context again and what transpired. Did she assault him earlier and he said so for feeling threatened? Did he suspect she was armed? Why was she pulled over in the first place?

My brother, when them cook the case finish, the judge will give kudos to the officer for exercising restraints grin

Be realistic, it does not capture the full picture hence its not conclusive. I have seen videos thrown out of court cos it does not capture clear picture or not recorded according to the law even though its glairing in the face.

What are you even saying this person?
You said what is classed as what again?
That's a clear case of serious assault on a police officer. Is there any other charge in the law book you know that we don't know?

It's no longer the police that are assaulting civilians, it's now civilians assaulting police officers. Police sef don learn the act of video recording.

They reason; if civilians use video evidence against us, why can't we also use it against them?

What actually transpired that made the woman react like that?
Why is nobody asking why the police officer said he will shoot the woman?
sharrraaap joor! Anybody that has the guts and liver to assault a police officer is stoopidly ignorant of the consequences. Except she is a daughter of somebody that knows somebody, she will never escape this.

And how does an alleged threat amount to an attempt?

Before you reply check your dictionary to learn the difference between a threat and an attempt.

She overreacted even if the police officer said he will gun her down. She must have said some nasty words to the officer. That does not warrant her to pull his uniform simple.
