Several people were arrested in the UK for protesting King Charles, including a woman charged for "breach of the peace" for a sign saying: "Abolish monarchy."

UPDATE: UK police confirmed at least 4 people arrested for protesting the monarchy and King Charles:

If you go down that thread, you'll see a video of the moment that the protester was arrested. Some civilians helped the police to drag him from the front of the crowd. Someone on the thread is alleging that the police did nothing while the civilians assaulted the protester.

The protester shouted, "Andrew, you're a sick old man". Others in the crowd immediately drowned out his words by shouting, "God save the King". Police and some civilians dragged him to the back of the crowd where he was arrested.


Prince Andrew was friends with Jeffrey Epstein, an American multi-millionaire who was accused of providing underage girls as sex slaves to wealthy friends of his. He owned an island where his wealthy friends usually had sex with children and they were often conveyed to that island on his private jet. Mr Epstein committed suicide while he was in detention awaiting trial. Some people believe that he was murdered in jail to prevent him from naming some of his wealthy friends that had sex with children.

Ghislaine Maxwell, the daughter of the late media mogul Robert Maxwell, was convicted for helping Jeffrey Epstein to procure young girls who were made sex slaves for his wealthy friends. She was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Virginia Giuffre is a woman who claims to have been a victim of paedophiles. She ran away from home when she was a teenager and lived on the streets. She was taken in by an older man who sexually abused her. She eventually reunited with her father, who helped her get a job at Donald Trump's resort in Florida (Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein were once friends). She met Ghislaine Maxwell while working as a masseuse at Donald Trump's resort. Miss Maxwell hired Giuffre to work as a masseuse for Jeffrey Epstein.

Maxwell and Epstein began grooming her to provide sexual services for their friends, under the guise that they were training her to be a professional masseuse. She alleges that one of those wealthy friends of Jeffrey Epstein that she provided sexual services to was Prince Andrew.

The Prince gave an interview in which he initially denied that he knew Miss Giuffre. He also said that he could not have been where Miss Giuffre said that he was because he was getting fast food for his daughters. Nobody was convinced by his denials and most people say that the interview made things worse for him.

Prince Andrew paid some money to Miss Giuffre's charity as part of an out of court settlement. The money was given to him by the Queen. The FBI initially wanted to question him about the allegations, but they eventually dropped the request. British police also initially opened an investigation into the allegations, but this was also eventually dropped.

It is due to this allegations that Prince Andrew stepped back as a working royal and relinquished a lot of his duties, including his military duties (he served as a naval officer during the Falklands War). That's why he was not in uniform during the procession.
