I'm not a feminist and I am very happily married. From my study about feminism, I've realized that it was born out of a feeling of resentment of how women felt they were treated by men. Out of the feeling that they deserved better and didn't need to put up with the Ill treatment of men.

Look out for the women whose husbands loves, cares for them and provides for their every need, women who re solely dependent on their husbands love and provision, will you see any trait of feminism in such women?

No woman who is treated right will turn to feminism for solace or a supposed "freedom".

Listening to this woman speak is almost therapeutic. The way she speaks, the way she delivers her messages, her choice of words, her logic and her courage all make her outstanding. Even when she says something I don't agree with, I still respect her opinion. I remember the way she took on the French lady that asked if Nigeria had libraries.

Only extremely bitter people like to downplay other people's success by childish "IF statements". If it's easy to be celebrated by anyone, why isn't anyone celebrating you? Why hasn't anyone in your lineage been celebrated?

Anyway, she couldn't have remained there because she left Nigeria even before some of her celebrated books. So whichever way, she would have still been in the US writing novels and getting awards.
