I paid late July, I contacted someone there and the information I got isn't so good

Good morning guys kindly put me thru on this I have my ielts ready and I just completed my MSc program but the senete committee in my school have not sat on the result since ASUU has been on strike for months now so inorder not to waste too much time I want to evaluate my B-Tech result but the naira equivalent is extremely high 170k now if I eventually evaluate the BSc would I still pay another 170 for MSc evaluation with Wes? Kindly advice me guys or I sud wait till God knows when ASUU will call off ?

The bolded has nothing to do with the exam. But I believe if you're ACA qualified, you can as well study and pass IELTS. You can reach out for study resources (text, audio, videos lectures from Liz, jay, Cambridge...) Comprehensively all you need to get your desired band.

Go ahead and create your WES account. Include both the Msc and B-tech in your order. Provide the available B-tech cert and transcript while you wait for your Msc to be ready. Once it's ready, request your school send it to WES for evaluation. With this method, you evaluate both with same cost.

Note that your evaluation will take a while to come out because of the Msc (ASUU).

If you can't wait, do only B-tech and move on pending when ASUU ish is over then pay $100CAD to add the Msc for evaluation.

I think there is another way out, which is unpopular..A lady said she included her husband as accompanying after getting PPR as unaccompanied...She said it is legal tho not popular among people, maybe you can tow that path... You need to get ITA as soon as possible with that score as changes to EXPRESS ENTRY would commence from the 1st quarter of next year.. Good luck

Pls, how did you calculate the ECA to get 170k.

I thought the estimate is around 130k. I want to know if I am doing something wrong.

A friend of mine two years ago got PR, left Ireland for Nigeria to marry and travelled to Canada hoping to sponsor his wife once he settles.
At the port of entry, he was lucky to meet an Immigration officer who was kind to tell him "If I allow you in, it will take about a year to get your wife visa but if you go back and apply from outside Canada it is only weeks.

so he did and in one month, he got his wife visa.Then he travelled to Canada, started working and then about 3months in, his wife came to join.

I will ask him how he did that and come back here.

Also, I must say he already got a job offer right after he got the PR.

In your friend’s case, we need to consider when the marriage took place. After or before the PR? She is married already so it might not work for her that way.

They were married at the point of submission, she added her husband after PPR...She was confident that it is doable and legal, but I think maybe it is after PPR instead of AOR..

I don't think it is because of the baby, I think I even read somewhere on canadavisa, that someone can add a spouse after PPR..There isn't much info about this online, even myself was very surprised when the lady shared her story, and also said that she read up on it before going ahead to add her husband..

Hi, how are you paying for your WES evaluation? Is it with a dollar card? The conversion rate seems too high.

yellow card is a Nigerian thing not Canadian. Not required

So does that means there is nothing one can do except wait till it gets to one turn?
