What travel date did you fill?

After 4 months of waiting, I have decided to call for my family passport. Me,my wife and 5 years old daughter.I did my biometric on 18th of May, till this moment nothing from them.I think 4 months is enough for them to treat our applications for 6 month visitor visa. Though we are first timer but 4 months is highly ridiculous.

Hello guys,

I’m a nursing student in uk currently (undergraduate), would I be able to sponsor my mum to the uk? Can I support her trip with my bank statements and house address? Can she also use a bank statement of over 3M to apply? (She has her proof of employment and bank statements showing her monthly incomes)

If you have already called for your family passports , no advise will be useful to your previous application anymore other than you to apply when next you are comfortable to let your passport stay for such a longer time for decision making.

@ZabethMay, someone here few days ago on student visa actually shared the testimony of inviting her younger sibling who is still schooling in Nigeria for a visit and was issued a visa, your mom has a better profile with her current employment status and bank statement. You can give it a trial.

Have you done any paid calls/mail yet? If not, explore that option first, pending on outcome, you might go on with withdrawal of you and family's application.

Sorry bro, you can’t use company account fund for travel expenses, please try and build your account for the next 6 month, if you can try this method believe me you will get it this time. Place your self on a salary i.e by paying yourself monthly salary from your company account to your personal account for a duration of 6 month, depending on how your company is trading you can place your self on monthly salary of 500k or more with transaction remark (SALARY).

With this method as a company owner you can analyze your yearly income through the salary you are paying yourself, and have a specific amount you would be spending each month as your monthly expense.

When you are ready to apply next you will submit your company account along with your personal account. I will advise you not to travel as a family in your next application, maybe you and your wife first or you alone so your kids can stand as your tie back home.

Good luck!!!!
I don't know if this works.

Can't a company you own sponsor you with someone else writing the sponsor letter?

This is what I do for most of my travels, with one of my managers writing a letter then dropping SOA of the organization.

Will this not be satisfactory enough?

Hello gurus in the house, please I need your help and advice. I got a refusal letter and some of the figures stated as the reason for refusal are different from what I used in the application. For example: where they stated 296.42 NGN(£595.26). The figure I used in the application was £595.26 but 293,269.24 NGN. I think there is an error there. Also, I submitted the business account statement, it seems they didn't look at it at all because that is where I had huge deposits as a result of business transactions not even in my personal account. Although some of the huge deposits I made in my personal account was evidenced with documents.

Please see attached refusal letter.
Did you state that the company would be sponsoring you or you're sponsoring yourself?

I don’t understand why you can't wait an additional few days or weeks if you've already waited four months, unless you need to withdraw your passport for an immediate trip.

If you want to save stress in the future when applying for visas, you might choose to select the option to keep your passport.

Good morning all. Please I missed my TLS premium appointment yesterday. I wanted to book a new date but got this on my screen, 'your reschedule appointment is limited', 'You reach max limit schedule appointment'.

Has anyone encountered such? How do I resolve this and book a new biometrics date please?

Please can anyone help me? I can't reschedule for a new appointment. TLS now has maximum reschedule limit.

Inform the officials in your school's office for international student - they should be able to help.

BPR is often sent to schools - perharps it was erroneously sent to your school

If you don't need the passport for an urgent trip, I suggest you wait it out. You will get the visa.

Please I have a question for those who travel often in and out of the country. I will be going to Singapore in the 26th of Sept for 5 days and I intend to buy some of the new IPhone 14s when coming back. I will walk into official Apple store and pay cash. I want to know if there is any chance of having issues with immigration/customs at any of the airports (Singapore, Doha or Nigeria). Just like 6 or 7 Phones. I will obviously have my proof of purchase and they will be inside my luggage. Do they give issues in such cases please or I am good to go?
Thanks
No issues. Just be careful with the immigration officials when you arrive in Nigeria...

Thanks for the Solid advice. My fear came after reading this
https://guardian.ng/business-services/imported-personal-item-above-n50000-attracts-duty-says-customs/

By the way, is it that they don't check the carry on/hand luggage?
They hardly check - unless they suspect you are a business person. Just be cool and don't act nervous.

If your kids were born after he acquired British citizenship, then they are automatically citizens. Their father just need to push their documentation and get them the British passport. As advised earlier by someone else, discuss with their father, if not for you own benefit but for the children.
Sorry. The law has changed.

Children born to Nigerians will no longer get automatic citizenship if at least one of their parents is British. The law changed a few years ago.

This affected my cousin's children.
