Hi ,please I need a feedback of those that applied for standard visitor visa from July 14 - 20 if anyone has gotten a response .my biometric date was on July 18 at ikeja TLS .

I have an exam in Uk next week

I made a paid call on Friday on behalf of someone who did biometric on 14th July, and I was told a decision has been made on Wednesday which is 14th September which is exactly 9weeks.. so I was told to wait to be contacted within 10days which I believe we should see a pickup mail this week, so calm you will get a pickup mail latest this week Friday ✌️✌️

@cashmadam
Kindly go through this scenario
My wife applied for student visa she is the MA alongside myself and the kids after biometrics a day after I noticed an error and cancelled the application I was told to fill a withdrawal form for my passport which I did and submitted while my families application was still in.a week after my passport was returned and I reapplied a day after my biometrics a mail was sent to us that we should provide a court affidavit showing one of the parents has the sole right on the kids or we should send a copy of our application form (both of us)which we did immediately 3 days later my wife’s application came out and was issued while we are still waiting. Do you think there’s a problem.
Many thanks

Good afternoon. I don't think there is anything to worry about.

Since you cancelled your earlier application and reapplied, you joined the queue again.

Your children's application will now be reviewed based on your response to the query (as you well know, one parent cannot travel with children unless he/she has sole custody).

Your visas will be issued, don't worry.

Hi everyone,

Please advise me: I want to apply for Standard UK Visit Visa for my mum who is now Retired. She was in the Lagos Civil Service 2 years ago. She however is a Pastor (in Ministry also).

Travel reason will be Tourism for like 10-14days, and I want to fund my account with about N1m-N2m, while I have monthly income of about N750k.

So, few questions:
1. Does the fund need to sit in my account for an extensive period of time before application, or I can put it few days before application.

2. Do I need to say anything about myself as the Sponsor, or provide a letter of explanation for the funds I'm providing?

3. Does she need to show any personal funding, or home ties herself since she is retired?

4. Does she need like a letter from the Organization (Ministry) where she Pastors?

Your advise will be highly appreciated.

OAS.

there’s no immigration officer during your EXIT from the UK
The govt refuses to waste money on that

I stated that I would be sponsoring myself.

Did you state that the company would be sponsoring you or you're sponsoring yourself?

u will get a stamp when you enter Nigeria and as for when you left the UK, home office has access to all flights, vessels etc that leave the Uk. For your application you can also attach your boarding pass + tickets etc

I stated that I would be sponsoring myself.

There's difference between you as an individual sponsoring yourself and your entity, organization sponsoring you.

Did your company write a sponsor letter? That's the question I am asking

I seem to recall that when I initially stated that the processing period could take up to 12 weeks or longer from the day of biometrics, some nairaland forum users questioned the reliability of my information.
