At last I sighted some beautiful stretch marks on my tommy.....The body self try, 3pregnancies.

Mamas for like days now I have been having this painful cramps , infact d one that woke me up Last night was so painful that I have to hold my pillow But they're so irregular and we are just 34weeks+, make baby Just chill till d next 4weeks + d lazy me refuse to pack my bags

Good morning everyone, congratulations to the mamas that have put to bed..
I met with my doctor on Wednesday and he said he won’t want us to get to 38 weeks before he carries out the Csection (this will be my 3rd)
So i told a friend and she discouraged me, saying the baby might develop issues if she comes at 37 weeks..
I’m now confused o cos even google advises 38 39

Mine was carried out at 37w5d and baby is fine. Your baby will be fine.

My husband and I have agreed to follow Doctor's advice and CS is scheduled for Sunday/Monday.

I will appreciate any heads up on what to expect, the does and doesn't after the operation.

I am disturbed
1. How do I know how many week is the pregnancy ?

2. There is a serious pelvic or waist pain, how do I remedy it ?

3. Is it possible to have PID and HSV same time ? And the doctor said it is a minor one and end up prescribing Lynxiclav 625 Tablet?
How do I reconfirm this part to make sure she is 100% clear of any infection?

Please help a bro oo as I be JJC oo

Your doctor is absolutely right.
We were in the same circumstance.
My doctor ((a consultant in gynecology) advised me the same.
His reason are (1) To avoid uterine disruption etc
Yesterday (23/9/2022) was 37wks 3 days
My LO was born via CS.

I just checked google too now and I saw 38 to 39 weeks, can you ask your Dr why he wants baby out before 38 weeks? Me honestly want 37 weeks for myself but Dr is saying 38 is what they do. Forget what your friend said o, 37 weeks is full term so you dont have to worry yourself at all.

He said it’s to avoid uterine rupture, i will go with the doctor’s advice..

1. It can be calculated from the last menstrual period. How? Download a pregnancy app on playstore or any app downloader on your mobile, input the day the last menstruation started and boom you are good to go. OR visit a good diagnostic centre in your environment to run a scan (it mostly corresponds with the LMP own if the pregnancy is still in its early stages)

2. Once had severe waist pain in one of my preggies and I can't say this is the solution to it so it's better you Visit your gynaecologist.

3. Use a Google search to make research on that drug and see if its usable in pregnancy or contraindicated.. Better still, seek a second opinion from another gynecologist (not a general doctor o)
