But please, can someone use Pounds account statement as POF for health and Care visa application here in Nigeria?

Yea sure if it's a Dom account regulated by CBN cos according to UKVI page, you can only use account that is regulated in the country you're applying from.

YES you can but you'll get more value for the money if converted to naira for POF as oanda rate is closer to CBN rate than black market. It's good to save up in pounds but you're better off converting to naira and running POF in naira account.

It's quite easy, if it's polymer notes then you should be fine. The paper notes are being withdrawn from circulation.

Thank you

Eerm if you got a free lebara sim at tls, use it to open revolut account, get your money transferred to it, just get a few coins to use for trolley at the airport, you will be fine.

Or just try and see if you can open a pounds account in a Nigerian bank.

Make dem no sell outdated notes to you o

Thank you

Release date is Monday mornings about 6am or so. Book an instructor then speak to him about getting closer dates, they sometimes are able to help.
There is a website too that sells test dates in different locations , but they don't hv a lot of variety/choices and you hv to keep checking for updates. driving test slots dot com
Thanks a lot for the Insight. Definitely setting my alarm tonight for that time, grin

Morning all,

For those in healthcare, I've heard talks about the reinstatement of the 20hrs work limit by 04 October 2022.

But I've checked Gov.uk and there's nothing of sort there. All I could find is still the rule that extends working hours for NHS workers due to COVID (see picture attached).

Has anyone heard of the revocation of this rule, kindly point me to it on Gov.uk

Thanks

Hello

I will arrive in UK on the 29th of September. Please how can I get the new notes if we can't collect from Aboki?

You can collect from Aboki, just ask for polymer notes instead of paper notes.

How i resolved this with a friend is that landlords are able to contact the appropriate place to confirm right to rent. Tell the landlord to confirm right to rent directly ...in 2 days this was confirmed back

Hello
Please the landlord said I should tell her the *appropriate place* to confirm the right to rent directly.

Is there a specific link or place?

Just above the section you screenshot is what I posted where it was clearly written that "The concessions detailed in the ‘If you’re working for the NHS’ section will expire on 4 October 2022. This means that all concessions in the section you posted will expire on 4th October.

Hi guys, if I open a revolut bank account in Nigeria and I fund it before traveling to the UK. Can I use the virtual card to pay for train or bus at the airport and do transfers in UK? And is there a way I can withdraw the pounds without having the physical card?. Pounds rate at the airport is scary.

Yes, that part is for people waiting for visa but still working while they wait for decision not for students working in NHS list profession

I think you need to take your time and read the whole page. The "more than 20hrs concession was introduced during Covid and they are removing the concession from October 4th.

If it is what you said it is, can I ask you the concession you are referring to that relate to those waiting for visa but are still working?

The concession detailed in the "if you applied for a Health and Care Worker Visa and are waiting decision on your application" section will end on 4th of October 2022.

Applicants with Certificate of Sponsorship assihned after this date cannot begin work until they receive visa.

Thanks for sharing.

But the explanation isn't clear.

The initial communication extending extra hours fro 20 (first image below), wasn't labelled "if you're working with the NHS".

The one you shared (second image below) says the concessions contained in the "if you're working with the NHS SECTION.

If the initial communication is what's referenced in the new post then, their communication is unclear. The least, they can do is update the inform on the initial post or hyperlink the section in the new update. That won't give room for all these back and forth.

Also, you have this in that shared link "If you do any different or extra work due to coronavirus
You can carry out supplementary work in any role at any skill level during the coronavirus outbreak. There is no restriction on the number of hours you can work."
, does it mean the update is still promoting unlimited work hours, and in another breath saying it'll end by 4 October?

It's really unclear.
