Good Day house, it's been 7 months after I did my medicals and I'm still yet to get any feedback from Ircc. I applied for my gcms notes. It said the application is still ongoing, also, the gcms note indicated that there are no refusal grounds. I wonder why it's taking this long. How do I move on from here na God hand everything dey now. I'm loosing my patience please any helpful information will be welcomed.

Please can you guide me on how to generate an invoice from flywire’s website.

Google or go to pay.flywire.com and search your institution there. Follow the instructions, input the necessary details and generate the invoice. Your school has to support flywire for you to use them. Or contact your school to know their preferred payment method.

• Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).

I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors:

I’m very sorry about your refusal after the long wait, you still have a chance GOD will perfect all that concerns you finally. Brace yourself, seek the face of God for direction and guardians then strategize and fire back with full force. Don’t loose hope just yet. So so sorry please be strong.

Please if it’s not bad question at this point I would loved to know how much your finances were, in order to learn and better prepare for mine, I’m yet to apply. Thanks and God bless.

I read on the ircc website that Nigerian Students Express takes 20 days. I made sure I met the requirements for NSE vis a vis finance, IELTS. In addition, I have fully prepaid the school fee. I am very disturbed that the IRCC does not abide by the statement on its website. My school was billed to resume on October 3, but that has been postponed to November 14.
I never envisaged this wait at all. All my friends that opted for the UK have begun their studies.
I a sorry to disappoint but the NSE route is not strong at alllllllllllll. I have only had a few people testify to that. I also wanted to use the NSE route because I applied in June for fall 2022, but I did my medicals after I submitted now tomorrow will mak it 20days since my medical was updated and nothing still. Please I would like everyone to devote themselves to prayer in this group honestly.
I would like to share a testimony before I continue, if you hav access to any blessed sacrament please use it this God that we serve his work is very unpredictable and he never does anything without a reason.
On Saturday last two weeks after a deep prayer in front of the blessed sacrament I had asked God for a sign and guess what immediately I entered the bus to Ago the first thing I saw was a man sitting in front of me with a white cap and at the back written in red was Canada in capital letters. I refused to believe this was just a coincidence.
Last week in church the Reverend father had asked us to sow a seed for our prayers. Now, I only have 10k inside my account that is mine the 12m there is for the gift deed that my father gave for my school fees. I just told God, look I have only 10k I will give 1k today for part payment I know you will grant my prayers and the prayers of the people of nairalnad, it is just a matter of when and I make a convenant that I will use the remaining 9k for Thanksgiving in church when my prayers come to pass and the next day eligibility started.
Please when you pray, pray for others too always remember to replace your me with us even if you want to say a personal prayer at least say a small one for others in your situation too. God loves a selfless prayer warrior.
Thank you for listening to my rant.

To me, that statement was a simple "INDIFFERENT" response.
simply means, you can retort based on her profile reveal and the generic inference of POF (economic and financial ties) which should have enough weight to give her a pass.

There was no ill intent percieved putting it in & out of context. In my own opinion that is.

Point to note… i only added extra to my write up… I didn’t remove or replace anything. I only made it longer because i wasn’t done typing before my hand clicked submit

This is a very important post. Thank you for taking your time to share this. I wish justwise could include this in the first page so that everyone can easily find it.

By the look of it, a lot of people here don't know this information.

olokings:
Hello NL Fam,

so just putting this out there. When applying for study visa with the IRCC, at the bearest minimum the following questions MUST be answered

Why study in Canada?
why not study in Nigeria
What are your educational goals?
what will be the impact & value of the program you are going for study in your business / employment / future endeavours when you return to Nigeria?
What are your home ties? - viewed from the lense of Family, Economy, Financial, career prospects, etc.
what are you job experience / skills gaps / career experience that warrants or establish the need for the study?
why the specific university / college chosen? - viewed from the lense of facilities, community, infrastructure, etc.
what is your travel history (if your have)? - mention all visa denials with reasons, give one liners to the why you made those travels to demonstrate that you are mostly intentional in all of your ventures.
what is your proof of means of financial support (POF)? - state amounts to show tuition + living expense (for full duration of program) + miscelleanous expense + buffer + flight ticket (return). mention any and all spikes in your transactions (lump sums), mention any loan obligations shown as deductions in your accounts (you can even use them as home ties)
FOR THOSE TRAVELLING WITH FAMILY -
why are you travelling with the family for the study period? - viewed from the lense of not wanting to break the family unit, you are the best person to take care of your dependents, you have never been apart from your family, you need the emotional support to excel academically, keeping the family as a single unit is required to maintain stability and manage the risk of seperation and estranged relationships etc.

Now most importantly, start with a good self-introduction, and DONT MISS EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO REITERATE WHY & WHEN YOU WILL RETURN TO NIGERIA TO DO SOMETHINGS YOU HAVE SPECULATED IN THE PARAGRAPH YOU ARE DISCUSSION AT THE MOMENT.

I particularly literally mentioned the date of & how i will return with my family as a closing of every paragraph in my 16 pages SOP. that will continually drum it in the VO's mind that this person is enthusiastic about coming back home to do this and that. However, you have to be strategic, dont just copy and paste "i am coming back home on this date to do this" else it will boomerang on you. rather let the statement be a closing to the reasons you argued in the paragraph. for example, during arguement of financial obligations as economic ties, you can state that returning home on XY date will enable you to resume loan obligations to your lender in order not to miss out on opportunity costs of ABC.... you see what i did there?

Finally, ensure that every argument you put forward in answering the questions above are BACKED UP WITH VERIFIABLE EVIDENCE, even if the VO may / may not verify them, just make sure you are not forging or misrepresenting anything, because only one misrepresentation found out will discredit everything else. Then, each and every one of us have unique profiles and situation, use that to customize your case representation and dont think that if you copy and paste someone else's profile who passed will assure your success.

Good luck to us all.

PS: I am NOT an SOP WRITTER NOR REVIEWER so i wont be able to start responding to DMs. drop your messages here let the gurus (they are plenty here and know themselves) respond to you.

ciao

IMHO, i think it is 20% luck. They have a weighted checklist which you must score through to get a pass.

if we continue thinking we can package anything and hope the VO's mind will be touched by a sky daddy at the time and pass us like that, then we are yet to learn from WASSCE and JAMB UTME.

The list is long and not all of the items apply to every body, but once they review your profile, they will score you against any and all applicable elements.

Thank you for sharing this. I hope we can all learn something from your case. Do you plan to reapply?

Please answer these questions so that we can get a better idea of your profile:
- Are you applying alone or with spouse and kids?
- Do you have more than enough funds to cover the tuition fees for the whole course + living expenses?
- In your SOP, what was your plan after graduating?
- What degrees do you have and what course did you apply for?
- What were your final grades in your last degree program?
- How many years of experience do you have? What positions have you held?
- Did you fill all the forms correctly and completely?

You are absolutely correct. Amen to your prayers and wishes… Funny enough, the kind of happiness in me in this past 2days since my refusal is unexplainable. I can’t explain how someone will be happy when something happened the other way round not as expected… I don’t even act like something happened. When i read people say they are depressed because of refusal this and that, I really can’t relate… because the Joy in me right now is above any level of depression… it feels like a heavy load was taken away from me. Did i tell you i now sleep well? 10pm-6am… I’ve never slept this good before. If i am not up praying till 2am, i will be thinking of IRCC or refreshing mails or googling stuffs about SP application or on NL. For the past 1year it’s been this particular thing. As in, i just started breathing now.. Since i was a child, i have never struggled to get anything before, i just relax and it comes to me, this is the 1st time.. Is it the prayers? Gosh!!! I have never prayed this much in my life.. Visa prayers started even before i applied…Intense prayers oh and fasting even before my LOA came… So did i do my best? Absolutely… no one can do more than i did.. Because more means to just kill yourself. So even God is aware of the current situation and if he is comfortable with it, who am i? I’ve seen people who don’t even believe in God get their Visas like it’s nothing. People who don’t even acknowledge that prayers can do anything get their Visas… So why won’t i be over joyed?

Of course i won’t apply again, make i rest… this is 1 year and a month journey that just ended.. i need a vacation even if na Ireland or UK, let me go and cool my head for a month. It’s not easy. When i come back from Vacation… Ehen! We go begin strategize again… for now, Daughter of Zion is looking for man to fall in love abeg… i need genuine love, self love self don tire me

Your most welcome. 1 year is a long time to wait not everyone can be able to be that patient yet still fighting suffice it to say your a strong person. Please I’ll finally advice you ignore and don’t allow any negative energy at least for now. Yeahssssssssssssss go for that Vacation darling you need in now even more than the guests at the weeding feast in Canan, go and rejuvenate, Love et light ❤️. Lmao Son of man is here available for genuine love o.

Good afternoon House. God bless the pioneers and everyone helping to push this threat in their own little way. I’ve been reading and learning a lot
Please I need advice to this my specific questions.
I was to resume October 03, but I’m deferring to January. I have have not applied yet because of POF. The cheapest POF I’ve seen so far is 3.5% and I need at least N10M that is N2.1M for 6 months statement if I choose to go with them, though I came across someone on Telegram yesterday looking for 2.8/2.5% that she’s seen 3% in Abuja. I’m a bit worried that I’ve not submitted my application but then I don’t want be in any rush that is why I’m taking my time to gather as much necessary information as I can. Please I’ll greatly appreciate any feedback experiences for successful POF uses?
I’ve seen someone who wants to do account alternations (@N100,000) on my aunt’s account for her to stand as my sponsor. He says they really emphasize mostly on inflow and outflow of cash in the account not ready the closing balance.
My question was: Won’t it have any effect on my application? He said NO. Also someone in my birth country is asking for 400,000 XAF (~N396,000) to do same job.
So I want to share it here to get suggestions, advice and experiences from anyone who was in similar situation before.
1. Is it advisable i use him?
2. I wasn’t born in Nigeria as a result didn’t grow up nor school here. Hence I’ve not done NYSC. Is it mandatory that Nigerian applicants will submit NYSC certificate?
3. Can my brother sponsor me, and must he submit CAC documents, taxt payers slips etc?
4. Peradventure i want to use business as my tie to Nigeria must I include CAC documents. Tax payment etc? I’m a fashion designer and bespoke tailor. Please I need people who have successfully used this as strong ties to Nigeria for their experiences.
5. Can dual Nationality serve as strong tie to home country of birth? As my mother and siblings are not in Nigeria.
6. Please is there anyone here who went or know someone who went to a non PGWP schools, please can you share your experiences?

Thank you as I look forward to to reading from you all.

Financial analysis. What I don't understand is the part where it's stated that their PGD courses are not accredited by ACBSP due to insufficient credits hours or serve as transfer courses. All I need is more insight about the school before paying and submitting.

Thank you

The ACBSP should not unduly worry you, the fact that they do not accredit the course does not mean it not okay - what you should confirm from the school is if the course is eligible for PGWP. That ACBSP is just an association. If you are on twitter check if the school has a handle and engage them there. Most schools respond faster there.

Pls house I need some clarification gained admission with a college in Ontario for January 23, from d loook of things cos of POF will submit my documents next year around February can I defy for May or September 23.
Secondly as divorcee with a daughter is it advisable to apply as a single mother or apply as a divorcee?I have custody of my daughter
Thirdly how do I prove the source of my POF cos I’ve been building it up in my dom account making cash d posits in d bank

1. You have no choice than to defer, preferably to Fall (Sept) 2023 - This gives you more time for your application to be processed.
2. If your status as a divorcee was documented, then you have to provide the documents otherwise you might be asked to get consent letter from the father of your daughter.
3. You can work around this if you have saved all your funds by the time you are printing your statement, however, to prove, you have to state what you do for a living and the reason why you were changing to USD- obvious reason will be to keep its value over time.
