The symptoms you explained are consistent with people who experience such mental breaks and she if she is a minor, it is important you get her to a medical facility that treats mental health issues as quick as possible for observation.

People who normally experience this break are not aware of what is going on are very vulnerable and may fall in and out of coherence. She should be observed and examined for a reasonable period of time before introducing any drugs into her system.

Spiritual or not move her to a psychiatrist straight. Mental health is important and can be cured just like any other illness, but one must be quick about it.

she MAY have taken something that has pushed her off the cliff of sanity and now she is hyper-reasoning.
I have seen this 100 times and they usually respond fine to you but to them it takes so much energy to respond. they are fighting hard to appear normal.
Please, do not talk plenty words to her. one at a time and don't scream or behave frantic around her before you push her further into an unstabl state.
Ask her what drugs (WEED, SK, AZ, HK, CK, METH) she has experimented with. She might try to deny but CALMLY keep asking her.

Let your dad not act frantic around her if he doesn't want to TRAP HER in the hole of instability with his hysterical behaviour out of his fear and panic. I understand sha, he is a father.

She is 16. Dad enrolled her in a Private School of Health Tech to save her from stress cuz of her condition. She currently doesn't have friends cuz of her condition. She doesn't socialize. Care to expatiate the bolded?

How old is she? Is she in her teenage years and less or around 22years old? If yes, it could be signs of early psychosis such as paranoid schizophrenia. She need to see a consultant psychologist who’ll review her and run a mental health assessments on her and the diagnosis will determine if she’ll be placed on antipsychotics or CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) medication to manage her symptoms.

There’s nothing like spiritual attack here. Mental health is an absolute medical condition and only a medical intervention will help.

You really have to make your dad understand that your sister going to get medication from the mental hospital will not stop God from doing wonders. Let him act now before it's late.

It could be a bacteria infection. I know of a woman whom got bacteria infection, and it affected her brain due to neglect. Although she's being taken care of but she can never be whole again. Do not let religion Rob your sister a life she could have had. Nigerians will always be an extremist in everything.

First things first, don’t ever panic and send your sister to charlatans disguised as anointed prayer warriors and prayer homes. Sexual perverts are there licking their lips to take advantage of her and also fleece your family financially.

Secondly, know that you stand a much better position to diagnose what’s going on with your sister more accurately than a doctor or a psychiatrist who’s an outsider. You live with your sister everyday (I assume). You understand the scenarios better.

I’ll advise you should research extensively on mental illnesses/disorders, understand the triggers and symptoms for each of them, and see which of the illness/disorder closely mirrors your sister’s situation.

These were the steps I took, and saved myself and my family over 10 years of pain, fasting and prayers and other needless stressful experiences we went through on my brother’s case. He’s fully healed and restored now (7 years and counting - living a normal life and helping out people with similar struggles). No need for drugs, night vigils and tearful stories.

I’m more than happy to discuss with you on practical steps you can take to manage the situation much better, so she comes out of this phase.

I'm not a doctor. So it will be good you see one preferably a neurologist. But I'm familiar with most neurological problems as most of my family members have suffered from it.
1. How was she born? Is it through CS or normal delivery.

2. Has she ever had any kind of seizure like fainting, epilepsy (or related illness), convulsion, etc.

Having this answers will help and I might be able to suggest what you will need to do. If your family is covered in any health schemes such as NHIS, cost shouldn't be a problem.

On another hand if she is an introvert her behaviour might just be normal since you said she talks(responds) well.
