Boss I've come to agree with the factors fighting us are much. It is not as if Americans are good at maintaining cars than us. For them once you car have check engine light on, no inspection. The inspection they ask us to do here? Is wahala. Good car, bad and flooded road will obviously damage it. A friend told me he have never been in 20 mins traffic even since in tmove to the state. You know the story here.
It's true Sir, but then you still alluded to my point.
Maybe the system is contributory to it, but majority of Nigerians are ignorant when it comes to car maintenance.
Now ask yourself how many of them are interested in knowing and using the right oil when it's time to service their car?
Again the Kazeems aren't helping matters

I moved to the other side to find a place to park. Called her again, she didn't pick. I tried to cancel but Indriver said I've moved from PU. I just left it like that and started using bolt. Its bn like that since afternoon.

Na so e dey easy for mouth, that's how moove do thier paper works in the office and bought 2015 Corollas then when the cheeps are down they moved to inoson then to Suzuki and the other Suzuki maybe the next move is for moove to move to korope.

Bro... No be me you go tell about how e easy or not. If we never run am we no go chook mouth.

Worse case scenario, the owner will collect the car on continual default (or agreed clauses) after one year but hey, the driver will have nothing less than 800-1m in savings if he's dedicated and shrewd in spending.

Good thing will be, after one year, he will not be in this position he is right now. He will be a better negotiator because na who get money get mouth.

That's very annoying. sad
Avoid picking any order that the PUP shows garage, bus stop, car/bus park, terminal, roundabout, and airport.
Also, avoid any order that the price is less than 1.7k. Even if the order PUP shows 2 mins and destination shows 7mins @1.5k, abeg ignore it. If you pick it and expect yourself to make 1.5k within 10mins, you're OYO. You go regret ever taking that order (95% true).
Also, do not drive off the spot you clicked "I've arrived"- you click arrive and you drive like 50m distance off the spot, it will be counted as on the move already, especially if you have waited for a couple of mins already, don't drive off, don't navigate to destination.
To cancel successfully, drive back to the spot you clicked " I've arrived" or you stay at that spot the cancel with "passenger did not show".
Some riders are very annoying and devilish. Some, you will call the number on their profile and it will be unreachable and they will click "I'm coming", na girls dey always do this rabbish, but still, I feel more comfortable talking female rides than male passengers.
Una see my life?
Much respect, boss.

If you're a user of indriver as a passenger, stop standing on/by the roadside and order for a ride.
Stop standing at bus stop, garage, car/bus park, under bridge, etc.
I wonder how driver pick this kind of ride, cos e sure for me say you go have small/medium/big issue spotting the rider, or meeting him/her.
I've seen many orders that the PUP would be Ikeja Under bridge, CMS, Obalende Roundabout, Arena market, oshodi under bridge, Mile 12 under bridge, ketu bus stop, and many bus stops like that, and some drivers dey pick such.
As an experienced driver, you should know that you will have issues picking riders at these locations, cos you can't park anyhow there, waiting for a rider.
I always see some riders as childish, cos they don't know how to drive, they don't know anything about driving a vehicle, especially in Lagos. They would just stand for one bus stop with plenty people there and they will order a ride.
Even, I dey ignore order that the PUP is ICM.
What happens to finding a got spot with easy landmark or a shop, kiosk, canteen, fast food joint, supermarket, a mall, a bar around where you are, or any place you know that a driver can easily locate you or wait for you if you might delay?
Don't they know what Lagos road is saying? You can't wait anyhow or park anyhow, else you fit fall victim that will cost you bailing yourself and your car out.
I've passenger mode of indriver and bolt and I use them once in a while, and before I order for a ride, I find a very secure location and stand or sit then order for a ride, I make myself more visible and identifiable with a good landmark to the drivers. I make myself available cos I know what is right, but some of these riders are just so ignorant and dull, they only know to order. All drivers should be educating their riders abeg.
They need to be educated and enlightened.
I've picked foreigners and the difference is just too much mehn, our people here need to be seriously educated and enlightened.
Majority of these e-hailing app users as passengers don't know anything, they need to be educated seriously.
This is not applicable to those who order for rides at home, office, or anywhere that's a house inside a street, so far say where you are ordering from is a building with number, street name - address.

This kind thing dey pain. This morning I experienced something like that. Kept calling to get access code, the stupid girl no answer. Kept me unnecessarily waiting and ajah-lekki traffic was building up. Just that I have told myself, I need not insult people again. If not I would have bombed her with curses. I just cancelled and moved on.

Last week another idiot boy, booked and I told him I was on my way. On getting to his nonsense tight ( u can't even make a u-turn in the smelly estate) PU, I kept calling and this boy was busy on another call. After many attempts, he picked his call and told me 'i have went away with another car'. I knew he was lying but the English slapped me dawai.
I replied: you have gone with another car, why are u arrogant and u couldn't notify me? Next thing.... I cancelled.

Soon, I will break my promise and start educating them with insults. That's the only language dey understand.

Omo 2 girls wey I carry yesterday na psychos grin.
They kept gisting for 2hrs from dating married men, not associating with broke guys, to sex to weed. And they were laughing sheepishly.
