If she talks back at your dad or even fight him don’t be astonished is the long effects of the drugs. The drugs trying to keep them calm makes them more bold in actions. For some the drugs increases their appetite for food leading to adding of flesh so much, for others could be their tongue getting longer all are side effects of the drugs given to such patients to calm her down. I am writing you from experience of what my little sister passed through. She’s now in South Africa and there’s no drug she’s on . Is counseling that brought her back to normal.
Nigeria health system is not it at all.

We have been doing this. I have Sudais, Minshari, Abdulbasit, Abdullahi abba etc recitations app in my phone and she has been listening to it. Infact, she's almost mrmorized Sudais' Al Qunuts but still, she still laugh and talks alone.

When the stuff started earlier we tried our possible best as a family but everything still remain the same. Now she is addicted to such lifestyle.. she doesn't listen to anybody again..!! All these are depression..
It all started when she lost her FG job. Her husband divorce her and later died.

My sister you have to take to Holiness Minister who is baptized in the Holy Spirit... and they will pray for her and cast the evil spirit from her... and God will heal.... Such drugs come in varying "g" or "mg"....like 5mg, 10mg....and as much as 200mg.

A doctor almost killed a friend by prescribing drug outside of his field of study. He gave him 200mg of a drug when all he needed was 10 mg which was corrected after he went to "Yaba".

Truth is I have a sister with the similar issues, some might be spiritual as this sis I’m talking about just started to exhibit this symptoms without any cause, a week to showing this symptoms it got so worsened that if she’s started it’ll take 2 grown up man to hold her down. Long story short she later died after few months, the mysterious part is till she was buried her body didn’t get stiffed, it was just like she was sleeping. The memory is still fresh. I pray yours won’t be like this, if your dad believes it’s spiritual don’t doubt him instead look for every means to save her

Take her to church or go see a therapist.

We will try to see a clinical Psychologist before proceeding to see a Consultant /Specialist in Mental Health from any of the Tertiary Health Centres here in the FCT while letting my Dad continue with his spiritual remedies.

I hope your Sister gets well soon too but hope is not enough, you have to take her to a psychiatrist immediately before it gets worse. Forget Psychologist and it is not a spiritual attack but a mental illness that is as common as the common cold.

Also, the less religion and religious text she reads now the better for her as she does not need religion or any thing that involves deep thinking for now and what she needs is proper psychiatric evaluation and care and like someone said earlier, she has to complete her course of medication received from the psychiatrist for at least 12 months to prevent a relapse as its better to nip it in the bud with medication now that she is still young to prevent it repeating itself every few years in her life.

Also, she needs as much sleep as she can get as during sleep is when the neurotransmitters (chemicals) in the brain gets replenished and mental illness is a result of a chemical imbalance in the brain and for some people, they can develop the exact same symptoms your sister is showing if they do not sleep for just 3 days.

Make sure you guys do not wake her up when she is sleeping or make noises that will interrupt her sleep and if possible let her sleep in a darkened room with no Tv and the lights switched off.

If you guys don't take her for evaluation and treatment at a Psychiatrists fast, it may degenerate into something you can't handle so the quicker you get her to a Qualified Psychiatrist the better.

My brother experience such act in 2014 when he was rerurn from.europe for master he had attack despite hendoesnt drink or smoke.or go clubbing live.a.modesty life but we overcome it and never reoccur again.. alhamdulillahi... This should help.subdue her condition and if she can be listen to it all the time..try it and thank almighty God..its call Ruqiyat to command and subdue evil eyes either it natural or unnatural...

It could be mild psychosis due to depression. She needs to open up about something. Take her to a psychologist first, then psychiatrist. Know someone that had that. She was rushed to UCH IB, and they simply started administering drugs. She took her drug anytime she felt like she was lapsing. However, the root cause was emotional, so a psychologist solved it, and she's fine.

She is 16. Dad enrolled her in a Private School of Health Tech to save her from stress cuz of her condition. She currently doesn't have friends cuz of her condition. She doesn't socialize. Care to expatiate the bolded?

I don't know what could be emotionally wrenching or overwhelming for a 16 year old to have resulted in her condition. If she doesn't socialise, check out what she does on her own, maybe drugs or anything. Is there a history (even remotely so) of any similar condition in the family. I'm sorry, just trying to trace the root.
As per the bolded, every system in Nigeria has collapsed. In some institutions, the caregivers are not dedicated. They just administer drugs that calm patients down not necessarily anything that will really improve their condition. When the patients are calm, it translates to less stress for them. On the part of the patients, their senses gets more weakened or deadened and automatically lesser chance at recovery.

God will perfect her healing. I don't ever take the God factor for granted. Pray for her too.

She’s probably getting addicted to a particular drug (crack/ice) .. that habit is one perfect behavior you notice.
