hi everyone, I need urgent help, I got admission to a school in Poland, they said the accommodations were full, it’s been a bit difficult for me finding accommodation even at other school hotels especially for the budget at my hand, and my school says resumption is 3rd October, I don’t know how much delay they would take because I haven’t even procured a visa yet, but I’m optimistic that God will do it for me, I also saw when someone said you have to pay for a test tuition fee to get your visa. I was thinking I could pay for three months at the dormitory then pay again, I hope that works. Please if there is anyone that could help me out with an Advice, I really need it

Ever since I've been checking on this thread, no one have ever post how they were given Visa.
Is it the embassy or people don't want to share their success story with us?
it's typical Nigerian style. Just keep pushing and doing your own research

ADVICE FOR THOSE COMING TO POLAND TO STUDY

Focus on your studies this is what brought you here

1) MAKE SURE YOU APPLY TO A SCHOOL THAT HAS ACCOMMODATION, NOT PRIVATE ACCOMMODATIO OR PARTNER ACCOMMODATION. PRIVATE STUDENT DORM IS VERY EXPENSIVE ONCE YOU GET IN YOU CAN GO OUT TILL THE END OF YOUR CONTRACT. ACCOMMODATION OUTSIDE CAMPUS IS DIFFICULT TO FIND AND IS NOW ON THE HIGH SIDE, WORST IF YOUR AFRICAN YOU WILL GO THROUGH A LOT TO GET A PLACE TO STAY.

2)Start learning polish. You can survive without it, but start learning polish now your head is cool, once you get here you won't have time.

3) learn the following skills, riding a bicycle, scooter asin Okada, learn how to drive, I repeat learn how to drive and get your international drivers license. Driving school is difficult to pass here guys. Learn how to barb hair. All this will give you money before you get a job

4) learn a skill in tech. I know someone will say math but you can learn a skill in tech without being good in math. Tech skill are sorted after here die. I fact if you have a tech skill you can get a job in Poland from Nigeria.

5) If you are here to study and make money and you have no intention of traveling round europe consider big cities like wroclaw, Warsaw etc. You won't get your trc in 8 months but you will find a job to support yourself. If you want to travel outside Poland Europe go to small cities like opole, Lublin etc you will get your card. But work is difficult to get there except factory work where you go see shege.

6) Drop pride this is for our women, be ready to do low jobs. Like working in Mac Donald, uber, glovo, wolt, bolt etc. Note if you can ride a bike, scooter, car you can make 1k dollars a month doing food delivery or taxi in big cities, during winter you can make 3k - 5k dollar. Food couriers and taxi drivers make more than some white collar jobs and they also have reduce tax rates. If you come here you will see ukraine women hustling. Mac Donald will help you secure a visa after your studies. There are other jobs that pay very well but top of the list is courier and taxi jobs

7) if you want a high paying white collar or office job. Make cousera, udemy, edx you best friend.

cool for guys Be open minded black guys rank number 1 here. Polish women want you, foreign women also want you. Don't follow a woman that will be billing you also understand that you have to use your head and be careful. A child of 16 looks 30 here. I'm 31 and I see 19 year Olds who look older than me. I wish I change my age on my passport. For women drop all that entitlement mentality. Many Nigerian women here are lonely. If you don't understand search for the video of the lady in UK that was complaining. Nigerian guys don't want to date Nigerian women because of pass experience.

9) Hold God well and don't forget where you came from. Some people came here and boom they lose control. The rest is history

10) remember you are black. Poland is one of the most racist countries in the world. No body will harm you but if you loose guard you are on your own.

11) you can become a footballer here, you can become a model or movie star, you can become anything. It's Europe. Just belive in yourself

Thanks for this, you just turn my morale to 2x

Since the day I came across a post by one guy here stating his experience right from the moment he applied for the Scholarship till the last day he boarded plane (though the guy turn out to be scam yet he narrated everything in details to the extent that I was already seeing myself in Poland. Lol) I have decided to give it a try though ASUU is delaying thing but yet my determination is still high.

It depends on the Uni. Each university with their expiry date. Some have no date of registration cut off

Do you follow the thread?

If not, kindly search for it, you will see ppl's comments tho I'm still in doubt either what they're saying is true bt at least they said "majority carry d vote"

But my instinct is still telling me the guy is one kind real tho.

Morning from Agege here in Lagos, Nigeria.

keep pushing. Going abroad is not easy. The process is always looks easy but the stress can be overwhelming but don't give. Anywhere in Europe is better than nigeria.

Another advice, If you don't the finance to go abroad develop yourself learn a tech skill. It will help you and you will get a job from Nigeria
