there are a lot of children out there who grew up without their father, and who became great men.... just like there are a lot of children out there who grew up with their fathers, and became useless good for nothing human beings.

as i always say: as much as two parents are better than just one, its better to be raised by a LOVING single mother than a good for nothing useless father who doesnt care about a child.

having a child is not a game, if someone believes that they are ready, while you (father) aint, then let her take care of that child by herself.... as someone famous once said:" if women can decide whether they want to keep a child or not, then thats ok, but MEN should therefore also be allowed to abandon that child or not" (if thats what they desire).

It bothers me a great deal to see lots of baby mamas struggling to raise up their kids alone. And some of them are children of men who are capable but they just let the women alone suffer to raise their children. And when the kids become somebody in the society, they show up to lay claim to them.

I see this as wickedness that will not go unpunished. The Bible condemns it. Some of them even claim to be Pastors. I wonder what they teach their congregation.

This is wickedness. Those who neglect their children under the care of their baby mamas will end up in hell no matter who they are. The scripture says;

Psalms 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

And corruption will not allow welfare department to do their jobs. We do not even have strong laws in Nigeria to check this evil. You can try it in some countries. You will end up in jail.

Because they don't love the mother. Men tend to transfer their wife's love to their kids. The more they love their wife, the higher probability they will love the kids

I agree that what these men do is very bad especially those that can afford to provide for their children. One of my cousins who is 19 is in this same situation. Her boyfriend broke up with her when she was 3 months pregnant and now that she's had her son he refuses to have any contact with her or the baby. She is now struggling.
But I also kind of blame the baby mamas for getting pregnant for a man who they probably know is irresponsible and won't help them raise a child. Especially here where it's very difficult to get child support from men. They too should have been smart and responsible by using contraceptives
