Oasis, how can you in good conscience support a man whose history you know nothing about? Whose genealogy is unknown? First of all, peter obi is a naira billionaire and not a dollar billionaire. Peter Obi is likely not worth up to 100 million dollars and believe you me, running a nation wide campaign will gulp more than 8 times that amount!
We're talking buying of media airtime which is highly expensive due to competition from Doo many candidates running for different offices. To erecting billboards, to logistical data, to payment of campaign staff and purchase of other campaign paraphernalia.
Running a national campaign that spans from sokoto to bayelsa, from Adamawa to Lagos is damn expensive.

Before now we the masses don't care about these things that's why the corrupt politicians will use our own commonwealth to campaign and then go there and double their effort in looting our treasuries.

We're trying to change that narrative.

Secondly, you do know that the ideal way of funding a campaign is via grassroots funding? Even in America where the public funds the parties campaign, Americans generally frown upon corporations or extremely wealthy individuals funding campaigns because they know that this is buying of access which is usually detrimental to equity in the society and is bad for the society.

Surely you're not proposing a candidate uses their own money alone to fund a national campaign. Is that what you're proposing?

Abi you want them to continue using stolen funds from the masses to fund the campaign?
