I'm not quite satisfied with your paragraph 3 which talks about resource sharing.

As an advocate of true fiscal federalism, resource control, devolution of power, and above all restructuring.
I observed with dismay that you still want to continue with this system of monthly allocation sharing, 13% derivations, etc. which shouldn't be the norm of a true Federal System of Government.

It seems like you don't believe in true fiscal federalism and complete restructuring of this country and this is inimical to our growth as a country,
because the continuous sharing of our resources in the name of Monthly Allocations to states and the LGAs will never encourage productivity at state and Local Government Levels, and good competition among states will still be a dream yet to come true, as the federal government can not alone achieve this productivity solely.

I thought your IntentIons were to completely restructure thIs country, remove those things that are not supposed to be on the so-called exclusIve list, and put them on the concurrent list, giving more power to states to control their resources thereby giving states and LGAs more financial capabilities to develop themselves speedily while contributing financially(making remittances) to the government at the center monthly.

True Fiscal Federalism and total restructuring will empower states to generate, transmits, and distribute their power(electricity) and this will take the burden of power away from the Federal government which they have been struggling with for years, build all the intra-state roads(leaving only the inter-state roads for the FG), build and maintain their schools (primary to tertiary), build their infrastructures, improve their lGRs, and grow their economies, etc.

In all, President Obi has nothing to prove to any one."

This man discouraged any enlightened person who planned to vote him yesterday when he tweeted that he will remove import and forex restrictions as president.

The tweet contradicts his proposition to transform Nigeria into a producing country. It revealed his true intentions as an enemy of the country who wants to kill the economy and turn the country to a dumping ground for his importation business.

I'm not surprised. He wasted Anambra's funds in his family's beer palour business.

Can a country produce everything it needs?

Does importation only have to do with importing consumable goods? What of raw materials required for manufacturing? Won't they also be imported?

Ask your leaky brain these questions

Mr. man, with all the borders the government have closed for over 5 years now, what has been the result? Instead it has brought poverty and untold hardship in the land. What of the differential forex trading, as that helped the nation or it heaped more pains and sufferings?
Until the basic things are done, the borders closure will continue to inhibit the growth and prosperity of the nation because the locals are not doing anything, they've seen government as the only way to prosperity and not through greenland.
If you go to market today, how many local products will you see and borders have been closed for over 5 years now. Which local produce can you see in abundance and can buy at moderate prices. Nil. Very surprising that they are even more costlier than the foreign product.
The closure of borders and differential forex trading don't favour the average in the country, it only favour the rich that have money to throw around.
Keep quiet of what you don't know and learn and also putting the impulse of people you're leading into consideration, not until people start killing themselves because of nonsense policy that doesn't positively impact on them.

BATified2023:
Isn’t it funny when they are talking about peter obi n u begin to wonder if it’s not the former governor of anambra they are talking about?
When people like you also talk about Anambra, one begins to wonder if you have ever left the southwest region for any reason since you were born. For a state that was created in 1991 (with the likes of Kogi and Kebbi), commonsense should make you think properly before coming online to vomit nonsense.

You people should even be ashamed to compare Anambra with Lagos. No shame at all. Can you name three industrial locations in Kogi, Ekiti, or Osun? What part of Kogi, Benue, Kebbi, or Osun can you compare with Onitsha, Nnewi, or Awka?

Ogun state was created 10 years before Anambra, receiving cool allocations to develop Abeokuta and the rest of the state. Today, Anambra has better roads, and Abeokuta is nowhere close to Awka.

I'm not even Igbo, but the truth of the matter is that if every state could embrace the level of commerce and entrepreneurial trends in places like Nnewi or Onitsha, Nigeria wouldn't be this bad. I've been to these places and the other states I mentioned except Kebbi, and the difference is extremely clear.

If una like make una allow tribalism blind Una again. As a Kogi man, shame would not allow me to stand anywhere and compare the flooded and undeveloped contraption they called a state with Anambra. If you want to shame my state, I will help you shame Kogi properly before you even start. I can't deny facts, and we must all be ready to put personal sentiments aside as far as national interest is concerned. If we are reasonable people, both Atiku and Tinubu shouldn't be in this race.

It shows your brain is blank, you don't even know economy. Imagine an illiterate arguing with scholars. He is talking about import and inflow forex into Nigeria. We need dollar to normalized our currency and eliminate the scarcity of dollars and in turn reduce our inflation to single digit. If we remove those restrictions, then those Nigerians who export their products outside the country can comfortably bring their dollar back home and sell it at a single currency value and then help stabilise the economy.

Learn fast. No one can achieve anything on a national scale without the North. Same way the North alone cannot achieve anything without either of South-East (Obasanjo 1999) or South-West (Buhari 2015).
Combined East and West cannot achieve anything without a part of the North. Maybe North-Central.

Now look at Obi as a core East candidate. At most a southern candidate.
Obi goes nowhere.

We are all struck to 25% of votes in 2/3rd of the 37 States including FCT.
