I major in fries business as one of my side hustles,and getting tubers are pretty expensive in my hood.

A small tuber of yam could go as high as #800,you dare not frown face for the seller.

So as a shrewd and smart street bizness bebe,I decided to hit the local market closer to us.

The journey ahead was filled with hitches,from rumors of an assumed reprisal attacks from the youths,to floods etc.

So welcome to how my journey started

Stuck in gridlock because a car got spoilt.

I had no choice but to relax....I was scared Sha, because I left my kids at home and trust my son to be overly dramatic.

Finally we scaled the gridlock huddle and had to pass thru flood,water even entered the Marwa(Keke)

I had the luxury of dipping my legs inside the water(coversface)
I dey take style relish my childhood memories

Following...

At some point I was scared seeing some of my co huslers stuck in the mud...eewwww.

A lady fell down and got messed up by potopoto(mud)
Chai to find money no easy.

The burnt car that was razed down by the angry youths because 3 young men lives were cut off....rip to them.

We passed thru some beautiful scenes and I took beautiful pictures.


The patches of dried blood on the ground from those young boys that were killed.


Very soon I go just vex,keep my aquaphobic fears aside and enter canoe sail go Solomon's island.

We finally got to the market,it was less crowdy,maybe because they ve been Displaced by the flood.

Things were kinda of pricey Sha...I got few tubers of yam and a bag n half potatoes.

And I made a new friend,her name is joy.i told her she's gonna be my potatoes plug ...like I cud call her to transload potatoes down to my end.

A bag of the potatoes goes for #2500. Diary,chikini money.

You could always follow up in my diary on diary section.

When local woman cannot can again at the market and has to locate a nearby hut to fill her stomach as to prepare for the journey back home.


I was glad when we were coming back home and those angry youths yaff disappeared.

In all for a chikini money I got things that could fetch me lots of money.


You see that bag of potatoes there,that goes for #2500,it could fetch me more than 20k when properly sliced and fried.

The street is wise,it's booming,it's the abandoned goldmine.

I m at home now taking my shower and to relax.

It's not my environment,I embarked on a journey to a nearby bush market.
