Dangote's corruption-fuelled monopoly and acquisitions aren't sustainable just like anything illegally acquired. The truth will eventually reveal itself and water will find her level when karma's time arrives.

What are you talking about? Are we addressing the person of the governor or the stupid nonsensical rubbish unrealistic monopoly dangote enjoys ?

Monopoly that is bringing Jobs and Goodness to the people. 1 Dangote is better than Buhari, Tinubu, Peter Obi, Atiku combined x 100.

Infact they should give him monopoly over EVERYTHING in Nigeria.

And if truly Monopoly is how he succeeds, then is he also using Monopoly in Ethopia, Zambia, Mali, Gambia etc?

Dangote keep investing in the country despite it's Downfall, this is unlike most billionaires, even Nigerians don't appreciate, some hate to see billionaires succeeding from other tribes, all they have is fake social media billionaires that 90% of them cannot say how they made their money, and still they are naira billionaire that have never enter Forbes list. Let's try and appreciate good people investing in the country, we always ignore our governors that few days after leaving the office, they are already out of the country, years later, you will see them enter Pandora's paper of having secret investment abroad, and we the followers will say nothing is wrong with it.

Dangote has enjoyed ridiculous monopolies found no where else in the world .

I am with Yahaya Bello on this one. Dangote is an outrageous ilegal monopoly which should only exist in fantasy movies and comedy

What do u understand by monopoly or is it that u are too dogmatic to know that your family can also do what Dangote is doing?
Ha BUA also got monopoly?

The issue on ground is bigger.
Kogi state owned it from the onset and sold 90% of its controlling shares to Dangote. It was a nice decision for the ever corrupt govt officials who are always after short term personal gratification. At that time, oil income was good and they could pay salaries easily.

Some 30 years down the line, oil income isn't as good as it used to and there is awareness generally, from the masses. The govt of the day suddenly realizes the owner of the controlling shares is so rich and now wants to enjoy the revenue from their resources more. They know they have alternative in BUA and co.

This is how Nigeria will restructure gradually or disintegrate.

Next is gold and land. Govt will wake up one day and say large farmers must sell a substantial share of their organisation to govt in order to enjoy profits or attempt to takeover the lands when what happened to Osun and Kogi state happens to them.

If 90% has been sold it can still be claimed back in the way Chelsea was claimed back by England from Abramovich. Meanwhile, Obidients, there is a political situation in Delta State which I would like to bring to the light. People who registered for pvc either for transfer or new registration are being told to go and collect it from only one location, their local government headquarters office, which in many cases can be very far from their place of residence or in some instances is currently inaccessible. And perhaps the situation would have been better if it could be collected now, but the officials are telling people to wait till December when Elections are in February. I just hope this isn't a plot for something sinister.

Chelsea??!

You slowpoke.

Roman Abramovich pocketed the $3.5B from the sales.

Ask Boehly.

Kogi is the sole owner and Dangote only has 90% of the shareholding and also reserve the right to packaging, marketing of the cement which can be withdrawn by the company owner

If all of this is correct why is Yahaya Bello not approaching a court of law to resolve the issue?

Why resort to extra judicial resolution of an issue that is based on a contract?

It looks to me like our politicians only talk about the rule of law when it suits them so to do. This is a matter that is fully amenable to the rule of law and should be so resolved. The courts are also able to direct Dangote Group to pay the Kogi State government all of its accumulated dividends and back taxes.

Yahaya should head to the courts but leave the factory open and running.

The owner is exercising his power, let Dangote too lower his pride.

Let Dangote stop if he wants to. He's the one that made cement to be this expensive. It was not that costly when we were importing.

If he acquire Obajana Cement illegally, are you saying the rightful owners should keep quiet? Dangote is a mean businessman. He can do anything to have his way.

His campaign to run down other cement manufacturers over 3× strong ness came to mind.

Also, his campaign of calumny against Indomie noodles years back just bcoz his noodles were not selling claiming that some children ate indomie and they died.

Dangote should clear himself. Whatever line of business Dangote enter, he would push everyone out and monopolize the market. This is dangerous for our economy and youth employment.

Thank God Kogi has an Ebira man as governor at this time. He no go gree.

Learn to read. You can not be ignorant and proud at the same time. You will destroy your life.

The document above is an agreement between Dangote and Yahaya Bello to transfer 90% ownership to Dangote and Dangote will not pay tax for 7 years after the factory starts.
