Is possible but difficult. Last time I travelled I met a guy in Paris who immigrated from abdijan and he narrated his immigration story on how he was able to change status. He came in with visit visa and got work permit after some months but then he was staying outskirts of France close to Spain board, according to him he had advantage because he speaks French, when he got his papers he moved to Paris for work.

Na wa

Been combing Nigeria and TLS contact, still can't find any useful information about Malta Visa.

Italian Embassy at Walter Carrington says, they don't handle.

TLS contact yet to respond to enquiry.

I don't want to use French Visa, as I prefer flying directly to Malta, not through Paris.

They do not have any embassy in Nigeria

If you look at those numbers, you will see Starcomms that is no longer operating as CDMA in Nigeria

I have done just once and other countries once as well.

I'm so disgusted now.

My aim is Malta. I don't want Parish, as I have done that before.

On TLS, they implied it.

Speaking to them on phone, a lady said you must have been to one of USA and UK in the last 4 years to be considered frequent traveler.

In the last 5 years, been to almost 10 countries, including France. The lady still said I should pick first time since I only traveled to France once and all other countries once as well, without UK and USA.

A lot of confusing policies.

Just cos of Malta, Italy didn't allow me pick date.

Just annoying

I may have to settle for France and then cross to Malta.

But I just want the Malta Stamp on my passport, which would most likely be impossible since France is the point of entry into Schengen area. Or what do you think?

from one of your posts above, it seemed like you want to apply for Italian visa but don’t want to apply as a first timer? Or do they process Malta visa?

I think if you apply as a first timer, you will get the visa since it seems you have a good travel history.
Italy is closer to Malta than France.

If you can’t get a way to process malta visa and really want to visit, apply for the Italian visa and enter malta from there.

You don't really get it.

Malta is where I want.
But Malta has no embassy in Nigeria. Hence, you have to first apply through the Italian Embassy. You'll fill form as if you're going to Italy, only your itinerary will show Malta.

I have no business in Italy.

Now, Italy or Malta has no date available.

I may have to apply for France then, cos it's Christmas holiday and it's near

That customer service that received your call did not give you right information. I got my 2nd French visa using frequent travel option and I haven’t visited US or UK.
Since you have been to 10 countries including France you are considered frequent traveler make copies of your expired visas and head to VFS they will receive it as frequent travel history.
