We definitely had a better second half. Still suspect with respect to possession, but we transitioned better.

Still concerned about missing too many chances. Could backfire when it matters most.

Not sure about this team.
They have the potential to be very good, but poor decision making upfront will be their Achilles heel.
Let's hope they make it to the semis, but against either US or Brazil, I really don't know.

Our goalie is a big suspect seem not good
Chile goalie was surprisingly good
The gals have qualified for next stage but we need to be more clinical upfront
Wish them the best

can someone please explain what happened that made new Zealand and German team pass between themselves till the referee ended it?

It seems like there was a thunderstorm warning or something like that and an official told the referee to end the match. The referee then decided that they could still play the remaining 7 minutes, so the game was restarted.

It seems both sets of players decided that they were not going to make the remaining 7 minutes into a contest, so they just passed the ball amongst themselves.

Hmmm. That's daunting. They do well.

The commentator said that there was lightning during the last 7 minutes.

Yeah, that Chilean goalie is good. She made more than 10 saves in that game. Can't really say thesame 'bout 9ja gk coz she was barely tested..
As for being clinical, this will be their biggest undoing going forward in the tourney.

That Folorunsho is too shaky for a CB, she's giving Ekong vibes. She's always booting the ball for throw-in under little pressure even when the keeper's unmarked.

She still need to be refined…Let’s see what she has to offer at the U20 level…

I hope this won’t be the case of another Esther Sunday…. Cause the end product (Goals and Assists) matters a lot.?

Lol. I'm surprised that hasn't been addressed by the coach. She consistently did this all through the group stage. She'll rather boot the ball to throw-in even when a pass will suffice.

Swears. One thing I liked about the last U-21 was the confidence of CBs like Demehin and co on the ball. The coach should address it ASAP.

She's not shaky.

Let her keep clearing the ball that way .. if imuran was clearing the ball that way instead of passing then Falconets would have beaten Holland at the U20 tournament.

Not too surprised cos, after all, she is a teenager who is still learning the ropes of the game. But I expect the keeper to tell her to pass the ball when the keeper knows it is safe to do so.

That's obviously what she has been instructed to do. Even at the boys level they play the same way. U don't want to make a mistake there

If she make a costly mistake now you come here and be saying she's trash, even in the highest level defenders clear the ball to throwing without pressure
