If Caldante makes a run the ball is automatic, Oshoala not so much.

It's borderline annoying sometimes. To think she's really worked on her offside awareness, but they'll rather pass to the side than give the ball to her, especially when she makes some pretty impressive runs.

Noticed that.
One can almost surmise that they are intentional about not giving her a through pass when it was the obvious option. Yet, the Caldente girls always seems to be receiving the ball.

It sadly didn't start today though, I've seen quite a number of their games to know this is rather consistent. To be fair though, you could understand it a bit last season cause Asisat missed many chances even though she had the highest number of goals. She's however improved significantly since then. She needs to bring this up in the dressing room.

Lol

Like she could have passed the ball earlier. She passed when she realized she didn't have a choice

If she didn't pass the ball was going out of bounds

As an Arsenal fan sir... it's a very big win.
I had to check again if it is really Lyon they're playing against.

I think I was wrong on this one. She did the best she could in that situation. The ball was behind her a little

The excuse all around have been Griedge Mbock, Ellie Carpenter, Vanessa Gilles, Sara Dabritz, Dzenifer Marozsan, Amel Majri, Catarina Macario, Ada Hegerberg, Delphine Cascarino : 9 of their key players are all out injured that's why Arsenal defeated them.

Colombia v Tanzania
Germany v Brazil
Japan v Spain

If we could just beat USA & Tanzania beats Colombia, then that will be great because we could meet Tanzania in the semis. Good luck to the African representatives.
