Really funny. No, your grandfather didn't reincarnate in your little cousin. And no, it's not coincidence. It's the genes. The same thing in your late grandpa that made him roll eba a certain way jumped a generation and landed on your little cousin. I'm sure there's even a scientific name for it but I forgot. It happens.

Nature (happenings in our environments) tells all. REINCARNATION IS REAL even, some of them remember their former lives (I've many documentaries about that).

There was a lady that was having marriage issues, men don't ask her hand in marriage until she went for deliverance and that was when it was reviewed to her that her former personality vowed that in her next world she cannot not marry, because of torments her husband gave her. She has to denounce it and was free.

See him. We don't even have any way of knowing for sure if real is real, talkless of reincarnation.
You have no way of knowing for sure you are not dreaming all this, that all this is not happening entirely in your head.
What seems like reincarnation can be anything. Someone suggested it is demons' manipulations to deceive mankind. It could be glitches in the matrix - assuming we are in a simulation.
Bottom line: things are not necessarily the way your very limited brain perceive them. So never sound so sure!

So how do you explain how people who were born durring or shortly after the Biafran war (like MNK) are so virulently more aggrieved and hateful about it, much more than people who lived through it??!!

I wasn't believing in reincarnation till I started considering that

Thank you for inspiring me with a movie plot.

Op if you're Igbo you don't need to be surprised. The Igbo people of Nigeria strongly believes in reincarnation despite Christianity being there for UpTo 100yrs.

The Igbo people are still one of the ethnic groups that call on ancestors to eat and dine with them especially during the time of feasting.

If you go to Igbo burial ceremony devoid of Christian rites, you'll see the elders of the land beckoning the man in the casket to come back as a better man or woman in his or her next life.

Some families strongly believe in this. They don't need western world to substantiate this for them.

Do you also wish to know that many of the people agitating for Biafra republic now were war and unsung heroes in the Biafran war of the 60's...

During their mass burial, the community cried and summon their spirit to come back; Perhaps to finish their unfinished work. No surprise of uprising of Biafran spirit both in Nigeria and diaspora.

Reincarnation is an Igbo thing and that's why they don't joke with their surname

No need to. All you have to do is listen to their words and actions. Always the same generation. I have analyzed MNK's life to find out the possible source of his extreme hatred towards Nigeria. Nothing. It would make sense if he suffered through the war or lost mum or dad. Nothing. Only thing that makes any sense is that he himself died durring the war!

Well, you can't have it both ways. Either there are contradictions in the Bible - which there are many - or there are not.
Do you you believe man can exist without simultaneous existence of woman? Can negative exist without negative? Up without down? Left without right etc

There are no contradictions in the Bible.

There are no contradictions in the Bible.

Then what do you call these:

■ Who incited David to count the fighting men of Israel?

* God did (2 Samuel 24: 1)
* Satan did (I Chronicles 2 1:1)

■ In that count how many fighting men were found in Israel?

* Eight hundred thousand (2 Samuel 24:9)
* One million, one hundred thousand (I Chronicles 21:5)

■ How many fighting men were found in Judah?

* Five hundred thousand (2 Samuel 24:9)
* Four hundred and seventy thousand (I Chronicles 21:5)

■ God sent his prophet to threaten David with how many years of famine?

* Seven (2 Samuel 24:13)
* Three (I Chronicles 21:12)

■ How old was Ahaziah when he began to rule over Jerusalem?

* Twenty-two (2 Kings 8:26)
* Forty-two (2 Chronicles 22:2)

■ How old was Jehoiachin when he became king of Jerusalem?

* Eighteen (2 Kings 24:

* Eight (2 Chronicles 36:9)

■ How long did he rule over Jerusalem?

* Three months (2 Kings 24:

* Three months and ten days (2 Chronicles 36:9)

■ The chief of the mighty men of David lifted up his spear and killed how many men at one time?

* Eight hundred (2 Samuel 23:

* Three hundred (I Chronicles 11: 11)

■ When did David bring the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem? Before defeating the Philistines or after?

* After (2 Samuel 5 and 6)
* Before (I Chronicles 13 and 14)

■ How many pairs of clean animals did God tell Noah to take into the Ark?

* Two (Genesis 6:19, 20)
* Seven (Genesis 7:2). But despite this last instruction only two pairs went into the ark (Genesis 7:8-9)

■ When David defeated the King of Zobah, how many horsemen did he capture?

* One thousand and seven hundred (2 Samuel 8:4)
* Seven thousand (I Chronicles 18:4)

■ How many stalls for horses did Solomon have?

* Forty thousand (I Kings 4:26)
* Four thousand (2 chronicles 9:25)

■ In what year of King Asa's reign did Baasha, King of Israel die?

* Twenty-sixth year (I Kings 15:33 - 16:

* Still alive in the thirty-sixth year (2 Chronicles 16:1)

■ How many overseers did Solomon appoint for the work of building the temple?

* Three thousand six hundred (2 Chronicles 2:2)
* Three thousand three hundred (I Kings 5:16)

■ Solomon built a facility containing how many baths?

* Two thousand (1 Kings 7:26)
* Over three thousand (2 Chronicles 4:5)

■ Of the Israelites who were freed from the Babylonian captivity, how many were the children of Pahrath-Moab?

* Two thousand eight hundred and twelve (Ezra 2:6)
* Two thousand eight hundred and eighteen (Nehemiah 7:11)

■ How many were the children of Zattu?

* Nine hundred and forty-five (Ezra 2:

* Eight hundred and forty-five (Nehemiah 7:13)

■ How many were the children of Azgad?

* One thousand two hundred and twenty-two (Ezra 2:12)
* Two thousand three hundred and twenty-two (Nehemiah 7:17)

■ How many were the children of Adin?

* Four hundred and fifty-four (Ezra 2:15)

■ How many were the children of Hashum?

* Two hundred and twenty-three (Ezra 2:19)
* Three hundred and twenty-eight (Nehemiah 7:22)

■ How many were the children of Bethel and Ai?

* Two hundred and twenty-three (Ezra 2:28)
* One hundred and twenty-three (Nehemiah 7:32)

■ Ezra 2:64 and Nehemiah 7:66 agree that the total number of the whole assembly was 42,360. Yet the numbers do not add up to anything close. The totals obtained from each book is as follows:

* 29,818 (Ezra)
* 31,089 (Nehemiah)

■ How many singers accompanied the assembly?

* Two hundred (Ezra 2:65)

■ Did Joshua and the Israelites capture Jerusalem?

* Yes (Joshua 10:23, 40)
* No (Joshua 15:63)

■ Who was the father of Joseph, husband of Mary?

* Jacob (Matthew 1:16)
* Hell (Luke 3:23)

■ Lord Jesus descended from which son of David?

* Solomon (Matthew 1:6)
* Nathan(Luke3:31)

■ Who was the father of Shealtiel?

* Jechoniah (Matthew 1:12)
* Neri (Luke 3:27)

■ Does God change his mind?

* Yes. The word of the Lord came to Samuel: I repent that I have made Saul King, (I Samuel 15:10 to 11)

* No. God will not lie or repent; for he is not a man, that he should repent (I Samuel 15:29)

Yes. And the Lord repented that he had made Saul King over Israel (I Samuel 15:35). Notice that the above three quotes are all from the same chapter of the same book! In addition, the Bible shows that God repented on several other occasions:

i. The Lord was sorry that he made man (Genesis 6:6)

I am sorry that I have made them (Genesis 6:7)

ii. And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do to his people (Exodus 32:14).

iii. (Lots of other such references).

■ The Bible says that for each miracle Moses and Aaron demonstrated the magicians did the same by their secret arts. Then comes the following feat:

* Moses and Aaron converted all the available water into blood (Exodus 7:20-21)
* The magicians did the same (Exodus 7:22). This is impossible, since there would have been no water left to convert into blood.

■ Who killed Goliath?

* David (I Samuel 17:23, 50)
* Elhanan (2 Samuel 21:19)

■ Who killed Saul?

* Saul took his own sword and fell upon it, Thus Saul died, (I Samuel 31:4-6)
* An Amalekite slew him (2 Samuel 1:1- 16)

■ Who will bear whose burden?

* Bear one anothers burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2)
* Each man will have to bear his own load (Galatians 6:5)

■ How many disciples did Lord Jesus appear to after his resurrection?

* Twelve (I Corinthians 15:5)
* Eleven (Matthew 27:3-5 and Acts 1:9-26, see also Matthew 28:16; Mark 16:14 footnote; Luke 24:9; Luke 24:3 3)

■ Where was Lord Jesus three days after his baptism?

* After his baptism, the spirit immediately drove him out into the wilderness. And he was in the wilderness forty days , (Mark 1:12-13)
* Next day after the baptism, Jesus selected two disciples. Second day: Jesus went to Galilee - two more disciples. Third day: Jesus was at a wedding feast in Cana in Galilee (see John 1:35; 1:43; 2:1-11)

A three-year-old boy in Syria's Golan Heights region has suddenly become the centre of attention after he revealed that he was murdered with an axe in his previous life.

The boy, of the Druze ethnic group, was born with a long, red birthmark on his head. According to Druze beliefs, birthmarks are related to past-life deaths. When the boy was old enough to talk, he told his family that he had been killed with an axe blow to his head.

As is the custom, the elders took the child to the home of his previous life to see if he remembers it. And sure enough, the boy knew the village he was from and once he arrived there, he remembered the name he had in his past life.

Locals told the elders that the man who the boy was claiming to be had gone missing four years earlier. When asked, the boy also remembered the full name of his killer. When the alleged killer was confronted, his face turned white, but he did not admit to murder.

The boy then took the elders to where the body was buried and in that very spot, they found a man's skeleton with a wound to the head that corresponded with the boy's birthmark. They also recovered the axe with which he had been killed.

Faced with the evidence, the killer then admitted to the crime.

The boy's full story has been documented in the book, "Children Who Have Lived Before: Reincarnation Today" by German therapist Trutz Hardo.

100% scientific, nothing like reincarnation, the boy inherited the most part of your grandpa's gene, it's genetic. My parents are both short, but I'm very tall, I inherited the gene of my grandpa.

One thing about demons is that they like to study us. The demon that possessed the grandad and probably lived with him for the most part of his alive came into the live of the child, and the demon through the child is acting out the characters of the grandad. This is just what reincarnation is all about. And the way to this is for the demon to be casted out from the child through the power of Jesus Christ.

True sha...then the whole family must go for deliverance and must live in holiness else Mr demon will come back with powers double of what he had.

But my dear Polite, while I agree that some of your arguments are valid, I do have to say, for some of them you are just splitting hairs.

Whats the difference between 3 months and 3 months and 10 days? And you decided to focus on that?

Don't forget, It wasn't a single person that wrote the Bible, people are prone to mistakes, and if you can estimate the discrepancies to the same value, it was probably a human error.

Another thing to note is that you are looking at the bible out of context. It wasn't written in one language, so cases where names change could easily be written off as the same name but in a different language, like how Jesus is the Greek(or Roman, I'm not too sure which one) version of the Hebrew word Joshua, so Jesus could be both Jesus and Joshua.

And another thing, once again, the fact that human beings wrote the Bible makes it possible for mistakes to crop up. Even if you and your friend experienced the same event, your retelling of it would be different. Perhaps you're more down to earth and he is more prone to exaggerating. If the 2 stories were put in the same book, someone would definitely point out how the book is wrong because it has contradictions (which it should, as proof that it is not the work of a single person).

What should be our concern is are the generalities the same?

Do the two of you agree the event happened?

If yes, then we can know for sure that it definitely did

I believe in reincarnation because I have one in my family no jokes, my mum died when I was little, and when my brother got married, his 4th kid was a girl child, and she has an exact resemblance of my mum right from day one, when she started talking fluently and walking, she will always smile at me and always want me to carry her, she will be asking me scary questions, imagine this little kid of 5 years old saw me one day, she smile at me and said, Tochi you have grown to be a very handsome man, u don't know how proud this makes me

Jeez, I felt a cold shiver down my spine, I was motionless for about 30 seconds, she just behaves like my mum exactly, she would always ask his parents to call me when she wants to speak to me, and guess what, this little girl calls me by my name, and all his older siblings calls me uncle.

We call her mama, that's her nickname because of her resemblance and attitude like our mum, anytime I mistakenly calls her by her name, she will frown at me and say
Please stop calling me that, call me mama

This girl freaks me out, including her parents, and I love her so much, she don't care about what normal kids of her age cares about, I remember last Christmas she told her parent that she doesn't want new cloths for Christmas, that she is okay with the ones she has, then she knew that her dad was broke, because they got his cars seized at the whoff, but the rest kids don't care.

Guys reincarnation is fvckingly real

Our Christian faith is NOT based on the Bible being perfect. To say there are no contradictions in the Bible is to lie.
Infact those imperfections are what prove that Rome did not make up the Bible (as someone once argued with me). Because Rome would have written a book with zero contradictions!
