@22:25 UK signed free trade (zone) deal with Aux/NZ post. I say, how about that (free trade zone) with the whole Commonwealth countries. A UKCO or UKCO or UC zone! #JustSayingNio
@Tucha: how's the UK free trade with Aux/NZ going.
First thing they agreed was to increase the age limit and time frame for the working holiday visa. It's now 3 years and max 35 years - it was 12 months and max 30 years
Then plenty NZ wine and lamb for una!

My thoughts exactly, even if he delivers, there will be problem, if he doesn't deliver, double problem. For BJ and penny to withdraw, something dey. We dey here waiting for season 2.
The others didn't withdraw of their own accord. They simply didn't reach the 100 MP threshold. Forget all the speculation and hearsay. A whole Boris will rush enter plane, only to arrive UK and withdraw the night of the contest. I'm not buying it. Penny was even far off the mark.

I don't think we ever discussed balance transfer credit cards ...........

It's simply another credit card, but affords you the ability to payoff/transfer, other credit cards to it (my easiest interpretation)........

You currently have 3 credit cards with £5000 debt in total.........

You apply for a balance transfer credit card, push the £5K debt to it, usually at an interest free period of about 22 months, possibly with much better apr rates... You would then try to pay off that £5K debt, within your interest free period.......

NB: But while you transferred your balance to the donor card, don't use it anymore, till that £5K is fully paid off (remember your interest free period is for balance transferred and not new purchases)........

*My street explanation*........
Just wanted to add that some cards include new purchases in the interest free period - so the offer covers both the balance transfer and other spending. Marks and Spencer springs to mind. Important to read the small print though.

Disregard withdrawal method at your own peril.

Please I need advice.
It's a personal problem but since it's happening in UK,
I felt I should post it here
I am applying for housing and the father of my child is based in London and he also has visitation right.
A friend told me that if I don't want to get delay in having a house( not private)
I should pick outside London that's Birmingham,Manchester etc
I don't mind any location but my problem is childcare and the visitation rights since all my friends and babydaddy is in London

What would you do in this situation
Thanks

Drop baby with baby daddy or share childcare duties. ..........

Good afternoon elders, what do I do in this scenariohuh

When my passport came out I discovered it has a wrong date of birth And I reached out to the immigration guy he was pushing the blame away And resulted to asking me to pay over 100k to change it, I wasn't having such and had to use it like that, my question is can it ever be changed?
U mean you don't want to use it like that anymore?

Have you legal docs on the problems(childcare & visitation rights) or just mutual agreement with baby daddy?

Thanks for the highlight.
What if the dependant of a tier 2 holder leaves the country, Does he /she still qualifies for ILR?
Or both of them needs to be in the UK for the whole 5 years?
Yes to ILR qualification, but time spent outside the UK is limited to a cumulative of 180 days in any 12 month period in the preceding 5 years before your ILR application.

Mutual agreement.
He has the child over the weekend.
Get it legal, then distance won't be an issue as he would be oblige to honor that.

Otherwise do as egboni Lexusgs430 as suggestef and have childcare and visitation rights yourself and be baby mama.
Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 2) by Shorty2022: 3:01pm On Oct 25, 2022
Sorry I didn't know how to fix in the right words.

He has the child over the weekend.

Not possibleto share childcare duties because he works and said looking after the child is stressful unless the child(2 years old )becomes independent

Becoming a parent, is all about sacrifices..... I don't know your personal situation, but don't become a doormat ...........

When we decide to have children, we should consider all factors (provision, care, cost and sacrifice)........

Looking after his child is stressful.......... He did not know that, when he decided to explode (without strapping up)........... cheesy

we need to confirm o..

my research didn't specifically state it was/wasn't.. there is no clear outline..

if most non-public fund benefits are tied to NI, then what about this LISA where 1k is added to 4k...

Amarathripple0:
Perfect, I’m so glad I asked. I’ll definitely conduct my own research as well.

Your friend didn't say you won't get a house s/he only said there'll be delay so be patient.

Alternatively pick outside London but be willing to drop off the child at weekend and do pickup too.

As for friends in London, you can surely make new friends wherever you go.

Hi my people, I will like to share a testimony to just encourage someone that you can do it. I know copied my question munamoqel about me asking for price difference on automatic car but I believe you should copy this one too so that people can see that some of us are still getting it right. Thanks to @lexusgs430 for the talk about house rent pay is mortgage money. @ticha, thank you for the knowledge shared on mortgage and always ready to dissect my situation. @mamatukwas my sister, thank you
I got into the Uk 6month ago and here we are as a house owner in the Uk. It can only be God. Thank you Jesus. @munamoqel, ensure you share this too in
