Charles Russell was among sincere Bible students who began a systematic analysis of the Bible, They compared the doctrines taught by the churches with what the Bible teaches, and began publishing what they learned. The goal of Russell and the other Bible Students was to promote the true teachings of Jesus and to follow the practices of the first-century Christian, Jesus is the Founder of Christianity. Many of the things the bible students taught has been charged Russell and the group only played a part in journey to discover pure worship he wasn't the founder!

You went to copy this from their website abi? You know nothing about the Culture of Double talk in JW. So, Google is wrong and Watchtower is also wrong for including Charles Taze Russell into the History of JWs abi? All those their videos that talk about JW History in their website that acknowledge Charles Taze Russell as founder are also wrong abi? Every other books of history of religions that talk about JWs are also wrong, abi?

Okay, look at the screenshots below. These are screenshots from JW old publications. Explain to me what they mean since you know better than us.

Deflecting abi? You don't know what to say? These are the publications Watchtower banned JWs from reading because it reveals who they are.

This publication was written after Charles Taze Russell died in 1916. I will find the specific publications later. After Russell died, Rutherford took over to be President of Watchtower Bible and Tract Society and renamed the organisation Jehovah's witnesses. Rutherford wrote those publications and revealed that even though Russell is dead, he is still managing the organisation from the dead. Russell is still managing every part of the Preaching work of JWs from the dead. He still wants to finish the work he started. Why will Rutherford say this about Russell, like he is some god? Because Russell is the founder and a highly respected Man.

Recently, in the jw website, there is a video showing a JW leader that we call a Governing body member, David Splain, giving a talk in an Annual meeting. He said that Russell is still guiding the organisation on the road to Holiness. He says every road requires maintenance. And since Russell started this road to holiness, he is maintaining it from the dead. Why will this Governing body member say this? Because Russell is the Founder and almost worshipped like a god amongst the Governing body members. He is the one they listen to from the dead.

You got that your comment from their FAQ section right? Please, if you really want to know the truth about this Cult, refrain from reading their FAQs. There are lies there. JWs do what we call, speaking from both sides of the mouth. You can never separate Charles Taze Russell from JW History. Never! Because Watchtower leaders take him as a genuis, a god. If you go to their Bethel library and their history Museum, you will see very old publications of Russell and everything about him displayed showing you that they are proud of their history with Russell, they acknowledge him as the Oga, the founder. If you watch JW old videos of their history, Russell MUST be mentioned and shown acknowledging the fact that he is the founder. Every history book mentions Russell as the Founder!

But because his history is filled with some dirty laundry that makes the Cult look bad and exposes who they are, they will deny him for image sake in public but acknowledge him in private! Learn to understand this! It has already been documented how Russell started the JWs in History books. But assume Jesus is truly the founder. Ask yourself, How did Jesus become the founder of JW? How did that process start? How did it happen? Who were there when this happened? It must be in the Bible right? What proof do we have in the Bible that Jesus founded the JWs?

Look at the pic below of an example of Lies in their FAQ section by the Left and what they really teach JWs by the right. You see the Lies?

The founder of a group is their paramount teacher whose opinion must be carefully considering and anyone contradicting his words or ideas is no longer one of his disciples!

Russell was called PASTOR which is no longer in use among JWs today, he celebrates birthdays (Christmas) which is no longer practiced in the group today, he believes so many things that has been amended today.

It's like saying John the baptist is the founder of Christianity since he started the baptism stuff and also baptized Jesus. But most things John believed has changed.

So how can someone in his right senses say Russell is the founder of the group whose name he never dreamt of?
In his time the group he led as a pastor is known as International Bible Students Association (IBSA) the group broke after his death and many other groups sprang up in his name still following his teachings except the group whose name is known today as JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES. So in what way could he be the founder? cheesy

Have you read the history book of your organization, the Organized to Jehovah's will book?

How can you say that Charles Taze Russell is not the founder of the Jehovah's Witness organization?

What is the legal name of your organization?

Who registered this legal name?

Was it not Charles Taze Russell himself?

What is the name Russell's group were called?

What is the name we are called today?

For your information so many people signed documents into bills that doesn't mean they're the founder of the belief system as long as what they believe back then has been AMENDED!

Jehovah's Witnesses organization no longer believe so many things Russell and his team believe back then, it's the new beliefs that drew me in not what Russell and his team believed in their time so reasonably you can't tell me that i'm a member of Russell's religion when i never accepted what he believed! wink

Look at the way you just disrespected that man, when he began his movement after being inspired by the rise of Adventistism in connection with the parousia of Christ (William Miller being one of the pioneers).
Russell was sincere when he started and accepted help and ideas from different people which shaped his theology.
Although later he drifted as he was more immersed in making dates and dabbling with numerology, later resorting to psuedo-theological interpretations of scriptures alongside psuedo-science/medicine which featured in his writings.
Your 607BC belief and 1914(*John Aquila Brown, the founder of the 1914 doctrine*) was handed over to Russell by his Adventist friends.
Your JW two stage parousia *Invisible presence* a.k.a Secret rapture is the brain work of Nelson Barbour who passed it to Russell.
Celebrating of memorial one a year was passed on from George Storrss to Russell.
*You speak low of the person that started your movement, although he made mistakes and errors I still got respect for the dead man.
The doctrine your organization is built on was his brainwork...........

One thing about JW is that while they may openly brag about love & how happy they are to the public, that doesn't stop them from murmuring & complaining about their organization when one or two of them meet in private. They can talk about how there's no love, no consideration, no justice etc, within the organization. A few of them can even argue about the truthfulness of the teachings of the faithful slave. For instance, their book (THE WAY TO EVERLASTING LIFE) clearly points out that there's nothing like witchcraft because a man has no soul that travel out of the body to meet in a coven with other witches. But many brothers that i knew never agreed with this teaching tho it came from the faithful slave who never lies. Jw can argue within themselves but pretend to unite when an outsider comes in. That's something i've seen times without number.

MATTHEW 10:28
The verse above can give a JW tough time. I remember when i asked my father to explain it & he couldn't say anything meaningful. In one of their "kingdom songs", there's this line: "fear them not who kill the body but cannot destroy the soul", yet they tell you that man has no soul, that no soul survives the body after death and so on. That's confusion!

Good point. That verse actually contradicts JW teachings. And JWs have a song that mentions this verse but tehey don't understand it because their teachings contradicts it. This is why they cannot explain it and their brains go into different types of twistings to make sense of it.

What Jesus Christ was saying there is, Fear not those who kill the body but cannot kill the Soul. In other words, the Soul cannot be killed by humans. Which also means the Soul doesn't die. The only person who can kill the Soul is Almighty God and that is the person we should fear. Therefore, if a person or people are killed by humans like them, those people haven't succeeded in killing their Souls. They only killed their bodies. This means Almighty God created Humans in such a way that Only him has the power to kill their Souls. The Soul doesn't die.

Funny enough how do you expect a father who brought you up in a doctrine start thinking of how to start all over again when you've chosen your path?

Body is the physical you that everyone can see the physical body could be killed but your soul is the character you've become over time.

Adam, Eve, Cain, Abel, Seth, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph and many more were humans with bodies like everyone else but the character each of them became in their lifetime differs. So when they die just like anyone else the character (soul) remains intact in God's memory book, that's what the Psalmist meant when he wrote:

The wicked will retreat toward the Grave, All the nations who forget God. Psalms 9:17

What God remembers after anyone dies is the character (soul) only those that gave God a reason to remember them! Genesis 4:10 compare to Job 14:13-15 smiley
