You also are befuddled with emotive negative bias and are unable to reason objectively.

What happens to any football player that leaves a lower quality and less competitive league to a much higher one❓

In this case, from the Belgium league rated 13th to the EPL rated number 1 in Europe. But in addition he performed above expectations.

As a consequence his general rating and value went much higher, this is what happens in football. Did you expect Dennis rating to go down

Your are eviscerating the substance upon which football appraisal is anchored upon and replaced it with a nonsensical proposition without any iota of substance.

Since the Liverpool Vs Napoli match there has been be a deafening silence that is bewildering and quite surprising. But then again considering the unbridled favouritism our V.O. gets here it should be expected.

Nonetheless, this was supposed to be the game our world class striker, Monster striker V.O. announced himself to the world as well as to potential EPL suitors.

But it didn't happen, he failed the test .

Instead there has been an outpouring of emotive sentiment based rhetoric. Some being by those best described as TheSuperDelusional as they are suggesting he was continuously fouled and unfairly treated.

Admittance of failure is the beginning of success it's the basis of constructive criticism. You are then able to address gaps in your skill sets and strategy and improve.

But instead many are blaming the weather, unfair referees, the bright red Liverpool strip, etc.

The EPL is the most competitive, fastest and physically exerting football league in the world. What works in Seria A may not necessarily work in the EPL.

V.O. is no longer an unknown quantity, he is not unknown he is one of the main focal points for Napoli attack. Liverpool would have gone through hours of footage of Osimhen and studied him in depth. His strengths and weaknesses.

In addition Liverpool FC have been having a torrid time in the EPL this season, they are off the mark standing 9th in the league table with even Fulham above them. They needed this win and would be like a wounded Lion . They return of Konate absolutely vital to them as well.

In summary V.O. got out muscled , out paced and got bodied all over the pitch, he couldn't get one shot off on target. Konate had him locked down and Vsmndykr put pad lock on the gate. Actually he actually did most of the fouls on Konate and resorted to desperate measures including simulation.

This would be a good learning experience if taken in the right context critically, for V.O. to up his game As opposed to what most are saying here.

Honestly, did you just post this? One of the most shallow analyses I have ever read online and it is not a dig on you. Even a baby football analyst knows you can not judge a player with one game.

Haaland failed to score against Liverpool in his first game. Analyst with your kind of orientation will say what works in Bundesliga won't work in the EPL.

Once again in your emotions get the better of you.

What's the fastest and most physical league as well as competitive league in the world, The EPL.

Haaland is an enigma with a skill set that is made for the EPL , he is a true number 9. He can even be more physical in the EPL than the Bundisliga. In addition I've never seen a 6"5' player with his acceleration.

I didn't make any deduction, just that V.O. will require more to succeed in the EPL. He has played two games against a not on top of their game Liverpool and failed to score.

But that's not particularly relevant, it was the way he got checked, bodied and locked by a Konate that was interesting.

V.O. is the most aggressive, relentlessly determined, hot headed with rage I know. However, Konate just poured ice cold water on him and he couldn't do much. Those attributes that have given him great success in Seria A and French one may not be enough in the EPL. That's objective appraisal not emotive preference and favouritism.

To use your proposition of sentiment, Saka, Martinelli, Mitrovic, Awoniyi , Sancho, Rashford have all scored against against Liverpool. Why not therefore Haaland and V.O.

All these players used guile, trickery , technique and skill and with Awoniyi plain good luck to score.

These are not the attributes of V.O. he needs to find another way IF he wants to thrive in the EPL.

You are making your deduction from one game. Which is illogical. You can't talk attributes because Victor OSIMHEN has all the attributes to make it in the EPL.

He is fast.
He is skillful.
He is lethal in front of goal.
He is a pressing machine. He even presses far better than Haaland.
He is comfortable on both wings.

So your point is strictly based on bias. You used the same bias when you thought he could not do it in a top league. If OSIMHEN moves to the EPL with a strong offensive side, he will rip the league to shreds.

Keep your bias aside and say the truth.

In looking at a player you look at how well his attributes will adapt to your team ethos, unique character and strategy.

I am looking at the top EPL teams not the Liecester City level of teams who probably cannot afford to buy V.O.

He will be looked at by the top 6 teams in the EPL not the mid to struggling teams. And for the top level expectations are different as well as standards.

Finally last week spent a few days looking at PSG youth team at tournament in Portugal. And the skill sets are different, shockingly the U14 to U19 set of players are almost all black African. So my view is not completely English biased. Although BREXIT has created new challenges for us .

Keep your bias aside and say the truth.

You never stick to specifics you evade the subject and create a new narrative to suit your sentiment based notions.

I pointed out specifically that V.O. got schooled, bullied, out muscled and out paced in this game against Liverpool CB Van Dyke and Konate. This is the nature of the EPL not all defenders will be like those two. But that's the level he needs to contend with to be a top player in the EPL.

Consider the bold stop being infantile and misrepresentating facts. Let me remind you , many years ago when V.O.was at Wolfsburg this is what I said at that TIME.

He would not get past the selection requirements for a top academy in the EPL and that included some championship academies at the TIME.

I advised that he should drop to Bundisliga 2 and or a less competitive league where his skill sets will be better developed and reinvent himself and then move up. He seemingly took my advice because that's exactly what he did.

V.O. is very direct but guile, trickery, sublime skill I would not say he has. But speed undoubtedly, relentless determined unbridled rage a big YES. His physicality has improved over the years but he is not an overly physical player like Haaland, Lukaku, Mitrovic, etc

Stop getting overly emotional, because I dont get euphoric about players you are obsessive about.

I repeat. There is NO good reason why a world class striker should feature for virtually the entirety of a game at such level and not get even a LONE shot on target, talk more of a goal. Just falling and rolling.

It's bad form. Plain and simple. And no player patronage chaser can shut me up.

Chai. I want to understand your angle. But Konate has quieted some good strikers in EPL and got rounded up by small boys in the same league. Add unknown regulars. If we are to use 1 game to conclude abilities, then even RVP and Rooney will be nobodies today.

Nunez is still upcoming. I very well want to assume you saw the number of articles written about if he can fo it in the EPL? He is still adapting till now. For VO, he personally knows he will need to up his game if he gets to the EPL. And that he can't do alone either. So no need to make a fuss about it? He is climbing that ladder and i don't see him stopping. You can't deny the effort isn't there since he returned from injury. When EPL comes, anything can happen. But he will get through. That i believe.

I guess you have a great view because that's where your head is right up your own petrid orifice.

Once again I feel sorry you, your inability to engage in any sort of civil substantive discourse always sees you resort to your comfort zone, the rancid gutter.
You'd know all about the gutter because that's where you constantly reside

Go and check my initial comment to you and see the rabid response you gave to it

Now get off that moral high horse

No one is emotional except you. It was the same emotional bias you used to try to write Manchester City Academy off.

You look for any little ripple to try to rant.

One game is not enough to use to judge. Even an infant football watcher knows this.

You are using a game off to run a decision on a player's possibility to flourish in the EPL.

It is totally illogical and it is only a bias person that will make such a bent remark.

Erling Haaland touched the ball only 8 times in the Community Shield game against Liverpool. From your perspective, Haaland is not world class.
