I think Peter Obi miss the mark in this regard. Agriculture is already well developed in the North. What farmers really requires are subsidized agriculture inputs and direct government intervention to make agriculture more profitable them. The agricultural produce processing companies are just exploiting farmers in the North who are eager to sell immediately after harvest for livelihood. Government could intervene to buy directly to farmers in a way that they make fair gain and then sell at subsidized rate to end users or consumers.

oga Obi need to change tune to high frequency. People are getting bored with the possibility of a better Nigeria. They (we) can't believe it. I can't believe people think he means only the North will be agriculture, I can assume he means all sides, but because the north have a bigger head start and high percentage of agriculture, then his focus on agriculture will be the north. They will get the most assistance in agriculture. Better cattle ranches nationwide.
