“I am unique” is their mantra yet they never fail to jump into an opportunity to exercise a hive mind.

I didn’t care to read because eighty percent of the stories will be lies to feel among.

My own craziest was when a wedding was supposed to hold in a hall at Ring-road Ibadan, and food was being cooked at Apata, Ibadan[quite some distance].
Only for the vehicle that was supposed to bring the major soups and foods broke down at Apata. People wey no chow for house before coming that day suffer no be small. Party sha finish without the food reaching the location.

But Ringroad to Apata no far nah.

My photographer covered another event and by midnight, he was yet to arrive our hotel (cause the plan was for him to sleep in the same hotel with us).

About 1am, dude calls and he's been held by Police officers on patrol under Apo bridge. Got there about 40 minutes later and it turns out the cab that carried him, drove nonsense and hit the police van. Somehow the driver ran off with his vehicle and the police detained the only suspect they could lay hands on; my photographer.

After an hour of plenty English and a 5K from my wallet, they let him go with me. Na 3.30am I sleep that night for a marriage slated for 9am.

DJ kukuma came with a laptop that hooked for over an hour. Na that day I know say them fit play "P square's do me I do you" for your wedding. Na just old songs me and my woman dance to, for one hour inside National Assembly Quarters event hall.

It was delightful laslas.
And lest I forget, I never collect two of my six portraits from photographer till today.

It's only the females that's got stories to tell. I wonder if they live for anything other than marriage. Gross irrelevance

Always get a planner! Pay for their service. Those guys have seen more things planning several weddings than you can imagine!

God bless you wherever you are Azeez for what you did for me. Azeez gave me a pack of safety pins on the night of my wedding that I should hold it first. I thought he was just being funny but I held it. Following morning na so my bride dey find safety pin up and down to hold some parts of the dress. This was on a Saturday that Lagos Marathon was holding so everywhere was log jam. I just smile for my head, said a small prayer for Azeez and went to get the pins from my room

Mine, the big canopy we used for trad and meant for reception collapsed overnight...torn... We had to use another venue...then the key to the bride's room cut into two....she couldn't access it for a while and her wedding dress was there.

All thanks to God that everything was solved and turned out right. Celebrating a month today.
