Former President of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki said the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will shock Nigerians in the forthcoming 2023 general elections, regardless of the internal crisis the main opposition party is currently grappling with.

Saraki stated this while speaking with newsmen shortly after the 10th memorial anniversary prayer in memory of his late father, Dr Abubakar Olusola Saraki, at the Ilorin Central Jumat Mosque on Monday.

He said the political differences between the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP’s presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar and G-5 governors led by Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike would soon be resolved and put behind them.

The former two-term governor of Kwara state said, “We will surprise Nigerians. We are going to work together to better the lot of Nigeria. This is because we all think about what is good for this country. Look at the poverty that is on the street. Look at how governance has not gone well.

“We will put Nigerians first because Nigerians want PDP back in power. The little difference between Governor Wike and Alhaji Abubakar, we will resolve them and at the end of the day whether is Wike or others all of us in PDP want a better Nigeria,” he added.

Saraki said, “The time he was convincing me to go into politics was not easy. In fact, it was a battle, I resisted it. But today, I can see that the greatest satisfaction in life is to see people progress.

“The only thing we can do as his children is to sustain his legacy of making sure the lives of the people are better as well as stand for the truth. Though it is not easy to stand for the truth, I am out to stand for a better Kwara.”

Dignitaries at the memorial prayer included Minister of State, Mine and Steel Development, Senator Gbemisola Saraki, ex-Kwara State governor Abdulfatah Ahmed, former PDP national chair, Abubakar Kawu Baraje and former Youth and Sports Minister Bolaji Abdullahi.

Others were Senator Rafiu Ibrahim, ex-Minister of Transportation, Hon Bio Ibrahim, ex-Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Prof Ali Ahmad, state PDP chair, Hon Babatunde Mohammed and Senator Saraki’s wife, Toyin.

The memorial event was also attended by the Kwara state PDP 2023 governor candidate and his deputy, Alhaji Shuaib Yaman Abdullahi and Hon Gbenga Makanjuola.

Please, Dear INEC Nigeria..

We need you to add these three things in the to-do-lists of your results-management activities.

1. Configure the BVAS Device in such a way that the user of the device cannot see the number of accredited voters until he clicks that the election had ended..

And also configure the device to automatically transmit the number of Accredited Voters to the Central Collation and to the IREV Portal, immediately the BVAS-Device-USER clicks that the Election has ended..

That is, by the time the user is getting to see the number of accredited voters that were captured in that device, the figures are already online waiting for him.

2. After uploading the result of the Polling-Units, please also carry us along by uploading all the collated results too..

So that, if there were errors which they corrected along the way (either at the ward levels, LGA levels, or State Levels), we can also see those corrections too and appreciate them for such good works.

3. In your final results declaration, please include the total number of cancelled Polling-Units and the affected number of Registered Voters - (this will help us know whether the Judgements of the returning officers were right or wrong - with regards to inconclusiveness of the election) --- Remember that cancelled votes is totally different from voided votes.
Voided Votes COUNTED, but they counted as NOTHING..
But Cancelled Didn't Count At All..

Thus, we need to also know those number of Polling-Units where votes didn't count, and the total number of registered voters that were affected.

They can't and won't shock Nigerians, they will only shock themselves. Nigerians are already immune to any form of shock either from PDP or APC, more reason we are OBIDIENT and ready to fight and protect our votes at all cost. All those underage Almajiris you people registered as voters wont work.

Both PDP lite and PDP pro max will be defeated by APC.

I only pity Atiku. 2023 would had been his best chance to govern eventually but God of Asiwaju pushed Obi Pandora to revolt against Atiku and its now parte after parte as we look as PDP Lite/pro max split their votes.

Bulky u should have concentrated in wrestling power from APC in ur state. If u can win 5 LGA then will know u are serious.
