South-East And Middle Belt Forum Endorses Peter Obi by ShowYourCertificate: 8:10am On Nov 17, 2022
The South-East and Middle Belt Forum has endorsed the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi.

This was the group’s position during a news conference in Abuja on Wednesday. The Chairman of the Forum Olisa Uzowulu noted that the former Anambra State governor ranks higher than all presidential candidates for next year’s exercise.

“We are going to go out there and fight a change. That is why you get the South-East, the Middle Belt, the South-South and the South-West to be one body and campaign for Peter Obi. There is no two-way about it,” he said during the conference.

“The Forum has decided on it. We are going to go out and work for him as a group. There is no choice about that.”

As far as the Forum is concerned, Obi’s support base transcends tribe, religion, and ethnicity as the Chairman said the former governor’s aspiration is people-driven.

“It is the people that are driving Obi, not even the party. They love him, people want a change. They are tired of the situation,” Uzowulu explained.

“There is nothing to sell to people anymore – it is not tribe, or religion but the belief that we have to move ahead. People are going to make a choice this time, nobody is going to hoodwink them again.”

He, therefore, called on members of the Forum and its supporters across the regions to pick up their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) and vote en masse for the Labour Party candidate next year.

Obi is one of the leading contenders for the presidential seat alongside the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s Atiku Abubakar and Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He was the running mate to Atiku during the 2019 poll under the main opposition PDP which lost to President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC.

The two region are already in the bag for Peter Obi

Obi will get 65% votes in Lagos because of the Edo, Calabar, Hausa, Akwa ibom, Igbo , Yorubas, Benue and the other tribes that made up of the over 7million PVC holders in the state that are in full support of the Labour Party candidate Mr Peter Obi

We are making good progress, Nigeria will surely be great again under the able leadership of his Excellency, Mr Peter Obi.

These are organisations that detest injustice and wish Nigeria good.

I could vividly remember the excuse some of these headless urchins gave for supporting Buhari was that he was the best option among the two we had then.

Today, I thought that weighing the 3 options we have, they ought to have known the best, but I was mistaking. They were justifying their error of electing Buhari, and their campaign for a worst Buhari version 2.0, has proven my assertion right.

These guys don't wish Nigeria well. Their excuse that Buhari was d best option among two devils don't hold water with their present campaign for Baba Emilokan Amnesia. They are blinded by bigotry and never loved Nigeria.

In all their treachery, Peter Obi is getting endorsed across Nigeria. We have had enough of the sick, old and outdated ruling us.

His excellency Mr Peter Obi is the next president of Nigeria by God's grace.

Uzowulu sitting from the comfort of his room to say SW and others are voting Peter Obi who failed as a governor in Anambra and also failed as part of Gej's federal administration. In fact he was the one who chaired the shambolic privatization of Nigeria's electricity discos after it was retrieved from the previous shambolic privatization by Atiku. Not just that, Peter Obi was fingered as the master planner behind Madueke's corruption, as confessed by the arrested Fidelity MD Okonkwo.

Meanwhile, Tinubu didn't rule you or your papa nor was he part of any federal administration. So what's the cry about exactly? Na ment? You had better face those who govern you and leave people who didn't govern you alone if you don't want curse in your life.

It's normal.. One funny thing about Obi's vice is that he enjoys private life and their supporters should keep it that way. A friend saw his convoy visiting a topshot in the north and people wanted to rush his convoy but his securities blocked everyone untill his car entered the person's compound and everywhere was shut
