The only reason why Ronaldo promised to grant the interview was because the Media reported he was getting rejected by every serious team, not because he wanted to talk about ETH disrespecting him or Rooney being against him. Nor the gym being old or the young players not motivated.

He wanted to clear the air about the rejection stories.

The interview didn’t even address the rejection story except that he was approach by a Saudi Arabia Club and he declined joining them and that he was close to joining Man City (of which he was offered to them a season earlier by his agents and City backed out of the deal) and he didn’t address the past summer transfer rejections by Bayern, Inter, Napoli, Madrid, Atletico which is the main bone of contention.
