Who NEITI help? People are complaining about sensitive and juicy positions in government like security, finance, ports, and oil/gas that are firmly in the hands of Northerners and these ones are talking about one yeye agency. |

They have started practising what Buhari taught them. Nepotism!! See how they are employing their relatives. I created a thread "Buhari Appoints His Wife's Brother As MD Of NSPMC". https://www.nairaland.com/7311270/buhari-appoints-wifes-brother-md It didn't make front-page. No reactions from social media users. Nepotism from Top to bottom. |

70 people that say 30 people max would be from South east boom it made news But northerners employ 100s to their agencies and it won't even make news There was a time for years ...south east a whole zone arguably the most educated zone in Nigeria had no AIG of police ...I mean for over 4 years ...out of the over 20 AIG none came from South east Not even one news agency carried it |

Because this one favoured southeast, Daily Trust is rushing to report it. Daily Trust, please make a report of the region most favoured by recruitments into NNPC, NDIC, DSS, FIRS, CBN, etc, in the past 8 years. Ndi ala! |

As this one involves brain work all the hausa muslims in the north will remember the Igbos strength and engage them... |

dre11:I know it will be from Daily trust. They aren't happy that southerners were recruited but if you go to other agencies in petroleum ministry, environmental and agriculture, northerners are recruited daily without any media noise. |

Lol. Because e don dey suit you now, that's why ur trying to justify abi! There has never been any evidence to indicate or prove northerners enjoy any advantage in recruitments/slots.. Only propaganda and jargon!! Penguin2:[quo mrvitalis:te aut sonature1:hor=sonature1 post=118558445]Who NEITI help? ItsTutsi:no body is justifying anything it is very wrong ...but if a northerner can be allowed to be nepotistic then an Igbo man should be allowed when he gets his little chance too |

Igbo have been equally presented in all recruitments. All that northern dominance is nonsense

|

I AM NOT FROM SOUTH EAST BUT IN TERMS OF NATIONAL RECRUITMENT QUOTERS SOUTH EAST IS THE MOST CHEATED. EVERY RECRUITMENT IN NIGERIA IS DONE BY LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND STATE. SOME ZONE HAVE 7 STATES SOUTH EAST HAVE 5 IN TERMS OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT SOME STATE HAVE UP TO 44 LGA WHICH STATE IN SOUTH EAST HAVE UP TO 30 |

This is the problem. Yell when table is turned against you, but when given small opportunity, you'll do the worst. No be today. This was commonplace during the last PDP administration in various federal agencies, even in healthcare facilities in the FCT. Interestingly, they no remember join SS to SE when dem dey secretly stuff in the names of family members to fill majority of the positions. Funny people. MasterJayJay:They did not learn from Buhari, rather, what happened in Buhari's administration was in retaliation of what these guys did during Goodluck's administration. This is exactly what they were doing in agencies/facilities headed by them; secretly admit in kinsmen and family members. If you were close to government and knew recruitment was supposed to be ongoing, they would deny it. |

The recruitment should be overturned. |

All recruitments should be on merit. If these recruitments in this case had been done on merit, I am sure there won't be problem. There is issue now because they filled everywhere with mediocre lopsided employment. |

I'm not even surprise, same thing they practiced during GEJ Regime that made Yoruba to neglect GEJ when he was contesting for second term. I am 100% sure if Obi become president he will govern in a way that will never allow any Igbo man to become the president of this country again. |

Any government office given to an Ibo man, he will turn it to either south east or a church! By this, i mean is either he appoints people of Ibo extraction or Christians only from other zones. The man that just resumed the office less than six months! Remember what happened in NCC, SEC etc. During Jonathan. Daily trust analysis also fall short of sincerity as it only gave state by state breakdown of North western/ Eastern states while deliberately left out same on North Central zone. With this, NEITI has fall short of transparency, hence the current Board should be dissolved with immediate effect. |

MasterJayJay:Goodluck is not an Igbo man and he did not head any MDA, but gave fair opportunity to everyone. This scenario played out recurrently in a good number of MDAs headed by these same people. |

Nonsense and ingredients, Abia state got 8 slots in an agency headed by an Igbo man, meanwhile hundreds of thousands have been recruited in lopsided appointments which even Atiku acknowledged that it was too much in favour of the north and all we do here is shout for 2 days about Buhari nepotism and go back to business as usual. Just 8 out of 70 and it's national news while if it's a Northerner he will recruit 68 out of 70 from Katsina and give Ogun 1 and Enugu 1 ![]() |
