horlabeesie:The programme duration will be determined by the course you are going for and the total POF you have, though IRCC says you have to show a minimum of one year living expenses, some of their action does support this. Going for a 1 year programme means you show a lower amount of POF, applying with you family will require you to present a strong SOP to explain why the whole family is travelling. |

Yes, applying with your family for a 1-year program isn't advisable. Although families have received approvals with a year, I don’t recommend it due to your financial capacity. The VO might be thinking, why would you spend all your life saving to bring your family to Canada for a one-year program and then return? Regarding your second option, explaining how you will come up with the 2-yr fee will not fly. I believe you are better off applying alone; they can join you when you come to Canada. horlabeesie: |

I assume you are familiar with the documents required from a sponsor since you are on a study permit. So, as a student, you can sponsor her if you have a source of income and were not sponsored. Likewise, you are good if you have graduated and are now on a maintained status for PGWP, evidenced by the work authorization letter issued by IRCC. Paying her tuition is an even more convincing way of supporting her. Please check the refund policy of Seneca College. skull4eva: |

House please I need help. Dear Gurus, ema wo mi niran. I applied for Canadian Student Visa in April 2021. I used an agent and got PFL because he recalled the fees twice. So I paid the money myself in December. Since then I have not heard from IRCC. I have submitted web form too. Anyway, I am moving on with the UK. I don pay deposit sef. My CAS will be out on Thursday. I am planning on withdrawing my Canada application. Would you suggest I do that or I leave it running? Also, when they ask me if I have ever had a visa rejected before, what will I say? Keep in mind that UK and Canada share immigration information. Also, how do I withdraw and application? Who can point me in the right direction? My pof will mature the first week in december. |

Hi guys and gals, I just ordered for GCMS Notes from the CBSA. I submitted my application on August 3, 2022 and eligibility review started since October 18, 2022. Since then, no updates aside ghost messages. How long does CBSA take? I learnt here that it's faster than GCMS. Thank you. Regards to all. |

@Jaykeh, You will need to upload the medical sheet they gave u same day you had your exam through a webform. The facility ( IOM/Qlife) will also forward their own (content of the exam) to IRCC for review/assessment after which it will eventually reflect on you profile. I hope this helps. Jaykeh: |

@gideon19, You can Google DLIs ......designated Learning Institutes in Canada (you can also mention the province of your choice). All DLIs are authentic. I hope this helps gideon19: |

@Jaykeh, Usually they acknowledge receipt of documents sent through the webform for the first time you upload documents after submission BUT do not acknowledge receipt of subsequent webform. I hope this helps. Jaykeh: |

Lamika24:The processing time for Canadian study permit is not for the faint hearted or for someone who is working tightly with time as it can take a toll on the individual's mental health. Your application is over a year and i am surprised you did not order your GCMS notes or have you done that already? that would let you know if your application is still being processed or not instead of drawing conclusion if you know what i mean. Asking for previous visa rejections usually is an information you provide at the point or application and not after application (it is important). Again your application is roughly 19 months (76 weeks) as against the 12/13 weeks processing time on IRCCC and its almost/nearly impossible that it is still being processed, however, as i mentioned above you should order your notes to be certain. The withdrawal of your application option is available once you login to your portal, its a one click option and the application withdrawal notification email will be sent to you once it is processed successfully. |
